I think there might be an old singer in a table machine in the skip down the road...

I can't go now am in my Pjs, house has just been sold assuming old person has just gone in to residential care or similar as there was a nurse going in regularly will go first thing and hope the snow holds off that long! Grin

My deceased uncles old house has a manual Singer sewing machine with the foot pedal in its own cabinet. Is it worth something, or do people like them for vintage value?

House can't be sold as its interstate, or something like that, so been as there empty since 2007.

right it's an electric singer in a dark wood table says 99k underneath the badge at the front

Yes go and get it but ask the person who 'owns' the skip first. I used to hoik all sorts of stuff out of skips to sell on eBay. Always aske first though.

Just take it - quick, before someone else does -

Yes its good manners to ask, but no one is going to sue/arrest you for taking what is now rubbish to be thrown out & no one else will ask, but will take it
