mine broke a while ago, and dd3 is missing it. all i can find on ebay is the plastic beaded ones. i have ordered one from little gems, but would love to have a spare in a different design.

Does it have to be stylish as one of the kits I got from ELC has a ton of beads in it.

The one I got was quite expensive but there were cheaper ones.

I find my DD misses hers when I don't wear it too Smile

Hope that helps

Hi, I make & sell gemstone nursing necklaces.....all though Ive sold more to mums of rough toddlers who have broken all their other jewelry, or to non-mums who just love my designs rather than nursing mums! LOL

I'd have a go but I'd be worried that the 'standard' findings, beads, thread etc might not be baby safe (or baby proof !) - they probably use a high spec of materials, hence the price

I got one from an ebay shop & 6 mo ds loves it. Unfortunately so does his 2 yo sister so they both tend to play with it.

muminfife - it was good to see you at the FRNN meeting on Friday

Yep I was also the only one who was late I think . dd refuses to get in the buggy now but it takes her all day to walk anywhere. We'll hopefully make the Saturday of the Big Tent 'cos I can get a train to Markinch & there should be a bus laid on from there.

I have loads from Mandy at lait d amour (her ebay shop link has already been posted). She has been mentioned in janey lee graces imperfectly natural baby and toddler book too.

she makes the jingle boobs, I have had one of those but my favourites are the gem stone donuts I have a jade one a rose quartz one (this one means the most to me because rose quartz is recommended for matters of the heart, family etc.). Oh I also have a peppermint one with added bells you can add bells to any of her designs and all of her necklaces are british safety standard approved.

e-mail her with your requirements she will make up anything for you.

I think she uses non-toxic plastic because of the worry of glass beads shattering if chewed.
