Fimo soft modelling clay - not as easy as I thought.

I bought DS1 packs of the kits for christmas and was really surprised now not easy it is. This is the 'soft' stuff too.

Another question. It all seems to fall apart especially when baking - do you use special glue before baking or stick them on after?

I wanted to have a go myself for fun but it seems quite hard.

I also bought loads of books on modelling creatures.

if its falling apart while baking then it sounds like you're not conditioning it enough (unless you're making something with fidley bits on it). you have to really work it with your warm hands and make it super duper soft.

what did you make that fell apart?

Yes you have to ermmm.. can't think of atechnical term..but squish and roll it in your hands to make sure it gets soft.

I don't glue anything just kind of press it together, it usually sticks providing they don't get stolen by the boy and ears broken off Hmm .

Different colours - we did a rocket kit - all very well but how do you hold up upright to bake with all bits sticking out? Little balls, legs and windows fell off when baking and after.

I assume that parts are glued together?
