I have a friend whose hamsters caused a complete rewire when they escaped!

carol3 · 06/04/2006 22:54

memo to self must'nt let hamsters escape as wiring is prehistoric, as it is don't think it would survive any nibbling.love your kids names.
i lived in the country as a kid and ended up being a towny now, look back with great nostalgia though.

Hi, Optimistic, it's very nice here on A&C, though a bit quiet at the moment. Welcome. I have been crafting here & there for years, but have only taken it up seriously (obsessively) in the last year. Be warned it's very very addictive. All the lovely crafters will point out good places to buy crafty bits and your credit card will go into meltdown. BTW do you have a sizzix?Grin

Why can you be arsed? Go and entertain yourself with your tedious friends. Or maybe you don't have any.

arts and crafts started off a little esoteric but quite quiet and industriously well behaved..now it seems to have become as weirdy as the rest of mn allegedly..Grin

Well, Zippity, they say that real Artists are the scatterbrained, pea short of a shilling sort of people, look at that painter bloke who cut off his ear.........

Anyway we have more libel/defamation scandals on here than you lot, at least 3 on here, you lot only have the one so ner ner Grin

I seem to have cocked all this up,adding"threads" without cottoning on what the set-up was!I have never taken part in any online discussions before,i dont know how it works, sober,i am now grasping the gist of it and i dont think i will do it again. My life is shit,i am very isolated and had looked forward all day to logging on and ironing out the mistakes i made whilst drunk last night.
Carol, you were a sweetie.goodluck with your hamsters.this seems to be a free for all for schoolyard bullying.

hello carol,i was in the relationships "thread" and was misunderstood.I didnt realise i had put in a discussion which i now see made very little sense.I did enjoy our little animal/kiddy chat. My friends, who are not tedious, are dotted all over the british isles, and we talk regularly,my one local friend is in the midst of her 6th go at ivf.I need to go on the wagon, badly.:(

optimistic - please ignore any nasty comments. You were not the only one who was drinking last night.

Please stick around. MN is normally a very supportive community. Recent events, which shall go unmentioned cos its not worth the hassle, have put people on edge.

Have a look at \link{http://www.mumsnet.com/SearchTalk?lastn=60&o=\active convos} to find out the conversations that are going on at the moment. Or look at \link{http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk\Talk} to see what topic headings we have. This thread is in Art and Crafts and would be better placed elsewhere to get the right sort of attention.

HTH, take care.

Oh, Optimistic, please stay around, specially if you need to go on the waggon, I have recently done it and it's hard but you enjoy a glass so much more when you do....

You are new after all, and you don't really know us old cows on here, but after a while you will be one of us.....Grin
