If you ever needed any help putting the blankets together, I have learned how to crochet squares together (for my mini hugs) and would be happy to help. I realise what a huge task this is for the two of you, and how wonderful you are to do it.

Gosh, all these squares sound exquisite. Getting quite excited now about seeing the finished blanket.

Very embarrassed here. Am I too late to post? I did my squares but even with promising to sew my ends in I haven't done so as I don't know how and it became one of those big elephant tasks and I just did nothing.

I can post tomorrow with loose ends or I can try to sew them in.

Beautiful woolly treasure has arrived safely today for Cup's blanket, two lovely knits, one purple stripes, the other a purple butterfly pattern. There is a card for the family too, addressed to Cup with her real name. I know your postcode too!

Would anyone like to help me out by claiming them, or do I need to get my detective head on?

Bless you Sally, we're not quite at the hooking point yet. There was such an awesome response and folk have still been arriving to the project even as recently as this week, squares for her arrived on Wed too. There are also a couple of blankets ahead of it. But do keep your eye on FB because we will link from there when the time comes. What I know already is that the blanket will be beautiful, in the way it looks, yes, but also in its heart. So much love has been crafted in.X
