This is so sad.
I'd definitely help with a blanket.

Oh.
I loved her posts. She will be sadly missed.
Rest in peace, Wubbly.
Count me in for a contribution to materials please. I can't offer any skill.
I'm in for sending cash to a gifted person.
Does anybody have the contact details? This is a bit more tricky than previous blankets.
I'd love to help. I can make squares.

Please add trumpton to the list of knitters. I will do 3 squares. So sorry to hear the sad news.
Count me into this one. I can crochet but not knit.
Happy to help somehow - will actually be in the UK for a few weeks so may even be able to knit something
but if not I'll send wool to someone.
So very sad to hear that Wubbly has died, her poor family.

Count me in for a donation. I'm useless at knitting/crochet.
I read mr wubblys post and it brought tears to my eyes.

Is it just a knitted blanket or are you accepting fabric squares?

Oh no.
I'm happy to donate, can't knit for toffee.

I am happy to knit a square or two - we need a volunteer to put them together though and I can't crochet for toffee. And same wool as the others, Debbie Bliss Cashmerino DK or rowan cashsoft? 6 inch squares?

I would like to donate. Just been looking at a couple of old threads I was on with Wubbly. She was very brave.
Re contact details - I suggest somebody put something on Mr Wubbly's thread quick before he disappears off. Maybe just asking him to contact HQ with his address details if he is happy for this to go ahead? I think that would be better than asking him to trust strangers direct?
I will knit some more squares willingly. I'll have to find the details of the original wool colours/types again, and order some, so it will take a little while.
Or if someone who can't knit would like to send me the wool, I will knit the squares from us both.

I've messaged LadySybil re organising this.
I have offered to take this on and organise this blanket like we have done in the past, along with the help of Ratherbeonthepiste. The systems are already in place.
I have asked if anyone has contacted Mr Wubbly. Does anyone know? Or anyone know Wubbly's family in RL?
MrWubbly is currently using Wubbly's posting name so can be contacted via PM on here, or via the thread itself - if you perhaps link him to previous threads on this so he understands what is being done (maybe Magic8ball's is the most obvious one) and why, and then perhaps he'd be open to letting someone have his RL details via PM.
Knotty, as always you are an absolute [star] (we still need that emoticon!), as is Pistey
Are we going to go with the same colours as the previous blankets? That did seem to work in making the blanket coordinated.

Hi Thumb, that's what I normally do: offer a blanket and explain the history, why we make them an how we can personalise them. I've seen Mr Wubbly's thread
I haven't heard anything from LadySybil. I'm not sure if she's offering to do this or wants us to. I just don't want to bombard Mr Wubbly with PMs if there is something in the pipeline already.
Very sad news, I loved reading her posts.
I can't knit, but I can crochet a few squares if needed.

Hi SDTG,
If it's going to be done via the Blanketeers with me and Pistey organising it, we'll use the usual wool and colours.
I'm hoping for some answers soon. I'm ready to go with the organising as soon as I know.
I don't want to tread on toes or confuse anyone if Syb's got plans.
