hi all
I bought a craft knife set from hobbycraft that was around £6. I have used it to make 12 decoupage cards but now they are all blunt!!!. Is it just because I bought cheap ones or do they need sharpening? If so how do I sharpen them or where can I get a decent set.

can you find a link to the ones you bought?

i buy cheap £1.49 ones from hobbycraft then when it is blunt you just snap off the end and you have a new blade

I made the mistake of buying a craft knife set and after a month the blades were all blunt and can not be replace. I use throw aways now that cost 49p or if I get chance to go to the £1 shop I buy a pack of "snapping" ones like AQ uses.

Can you get replacement baldes for the knives????

jayz the knives blades can be replaced and some came in the set but when you replace them they go all wonky so you cant actually apply any pressure!!!

May be better off with the snap one that AQ showed. Will have to wait till after xmas now.
thanks
