Not arty or craft so need help with DIY Wedding invites

I had the brain wave of making our wedding invitiations but i obviously had this thought before remember how completely useless I am at anything remotely arty.
Here is what i have got, so now I need help with that to do with it all.

Lillies
Invites
Name Place Cards

Was thinking about getting some lemon material (our colour theme) to go behind the lillies but unsure how this would look. Also the invite looks a bit bare so maybe we should put something else on the front.

Forgot to add that you can get hammer finished card from The Paper Mill Shop....it works out a lot cheaper if you can buy the A4 card and then cut to size yourself.

jayzmummy, they are fab. Exactly the look I want, although nothing like what I have brought.

What did you use to make them up? If you don't mind me asking.

The calla lilly is sitting on top of some thick mulberry paper that I printed the wedding vows onto. I used the colour setting 165/138/82 which gives a dark gold.
The boquet I attached using my glue gun and then I tied a small bow and stuck it down using the glue gun again. The gyp I got from a florist supplies shop as I couldnt find any from anywhere else!
I knotted a length of matching ribbon and then stuck it with DS tape, inside at the top of the card.
Printed the inserts using a pro layout and that was it....simple really but when I had two hundred to make I needed simple and quick!

Good luck and as I said if you need any help, just shout.

Yes yes yes, I am shouting.
That detail is great but these type of things mean absolutely nothing to me.

Would it be simple enough for someone as useless as me to do it?
Feel gutted now cos I absolutely love those invites Jayzmummy, they are just perfect!

They'd be pretty easy to make, if you're not comfy with ink settings you could use a stamp and gold ink (Do-Crafts do a nice calla lilly one, £8-ish?) but as per usual Jayz has come up with a nice achievable one I am sure you could do

We got married in Vegas, so sent out our invites as postcards from there!! inviting people to Vegas or to home do, which ever they could make, really cheap and cheerful to do, just get a photo and photocopy in cardformat!

Wow Jayzmummy, have emailed you.

That is sooooo kind, said in my email but really wanted to make them myself to give things a more personal touch but they are amazing and there is no way I could even get close to that.
