Does anyone know how to make willow baskets?

I have had a look on t'internet and the only "recipe" I can find for making one is about the size and shape of half a miniature rugby ball (ie useless and won't stand up)

Anyone got any tips?

I enrolled in a local course to learn to make willow baskets, I made an egg basket and a big basket that now sits by the fire and holds the logs, firelighters and old newspapers.I have gone on to make various other shaped baskets, all different.
I've been thinking about trying to organise a course locally, but it would mean a weekend on a scottish island. Any takers ?
Otherwise, you could look at the book I use,
craft workshop, Basket, by polly pollock. isbn,1-84215-738-8.
Hope that helps

Thanks champs... one of the links was the rugby ball, but one I hadn't seen! I'll see if I can adapt it

Bensmum... I would love a willow basket making course on a Scottish Island! Particularly one where I learn to make one that holds the logs et al as that is what I am hoping to aspire to. My mum always said I wanted to walk before I could crawl!

serah, the basket that holds my logs etc was only the 2nd basket I had made, it really is easy if you have a good teacher .
