Painful areas during 20 week ultrasound

This is probably nothing unusual but I don't remember it with my first. Had 20week scan today with a lovely sonographer who did both the scans for DD1. Baby was being awkward as seems to be the norm for this baby and there were times when she was applying quite a lot of pressure. Now that didn't bother me in the slightest until she rolled over one part of my abdomen about an inch below my belly button and a couple of inches to the right and it was very painful. It was like she was rolling over a hard lump which hurt. I said it was painful and she apologised, I think she just thought that she was pressing too hard. Later in the scan the exact same pain happened when she rolled over the same area on the other side of my stomach but not quite as painful. It happened on both sides every time she pressed in that area. Made me panic about my ovaries or about kidneys or about something that is on both sides! Tell me I am just being paranoid and there is nothing to worry about. Tell me it is just ligaments or stretching or something totally normal.

I can't remember if it was on both sides, but do remember how surprised I was at the pain with dc2 at the scans. As you say, like they are going over hard bits. Could she have been going near rhe bum and the head? Don't know what it is, but I do recognise it.

I know she was definitely not near bum or head because baby was being an awkward sod and wasn't in that position. Glad someone else has felt it. Not glad either of us were in pain though!
