So I had a surgical termination before Christmas, was around 7 weeks pregnant. Already a single mum of 2 so no way I felt I could cope with a 3rd. In the past week or so I have convinced my self I can feel movement in my tummy! I would be around 17 weeks now which is when I first felt movement with my other 2 DC. Have taken 4 home pregnancy tests, all negative. Saw my GP on Monday who felt my tummy and said she couldn't feel my uterus at all and was most likely related to my digestive system, she definitely thinks I'm not pregnant. BUT I'm driving myself mad thinking that somehow the abortion didn't work and I'm still pregnant, especially as I'm still not in a position to have a 3rd child! I have the Nexplanon implant in my arm, and am worried this could affect the result of a pregnancy test (ie give a false negative) A pregnancy test would definitely show up postive at 4 months if I was, wouldn't it? Please somebody try and reason with me, feel like I'm going crazy! Sad

So sorry you are feeling like this. My only advice would be to take yourself to your nearest early pregnancy unit - if it's like mine you can just turn up without a referral - and have a scan. That's the only definitive way to know if you pregnant or not - whether they can see a baby. I'm sure you aren't gp, but I'm sure you won't rest until you know for sure. All the best, M
