Mirtazepine for severe postnatal depression advice pls

Hi I an 24 with a 4 week old baby been having a realllllllllllly bad time with PND won't go in to detail but it's been that bad that I've thought about ending it all and regretting ever having baby I have been assessed by mental health team twice now and my meds have been changed from Paroxetine to Mirtazepine 15mg going up to 30mg in a week! He said these will benefit me more and I really hope they do because I am so desperate to feel myself he said that they help you sleep too but I'm just scared with regards to night feeds as I need to wake for baby anyone else have experience with these tabs?

I've been on mirtazapine and it does make you sleep well at night but I think you'd wake up for the baby. It can be really effective so is worth giving a try. It can cause weight gain but I decided at the time that I ended sanity more than being a size 10! Best wishes to you x
