Advise needed.

So I had a period 10 weeks postnatally after a csection.
I had sex the weekend after my period started. 17/4/15 Used condom. Now am having pregnancy symptoms.
I am embarrassed to say that I was warned by gp to not Dtd as had difficult section and awaiting coil fitting while on waiting list for sterilisation. First available appointment for coil is middle of May. Don't judge me.
I'm looking for reassurance that I cannot be pregnant as its not possible I ovulated anywhere near the date, and we used a condom. Will just add that I suffer from anxiety and this has become worse since my sons arrival. My husband thinks I have become a little obsessed and worked my self up for no reason.
Can anyone advise? Do I need to worry? Or is it anxiety. Would sex cycle day 8 result in pregnancy?

Sorry to say that yes day 8 could be a workable conception date. Sperm can hang around for a few days and it's possible that your cycle changes post birth. Mine went to 24 day cycles, sometimes 22 in which case day 8 was optimal. You need to test.

Thanks for your reply. It's too early to test 28 days from last period is next Friday.
Hoping sickness is a bug caught from children and breasts is my milk finally drying up!
