I've had PND with both of my youngest, 4yrs and 8wks. I don't have family or friends near by and struggle to keep it together sometimes. I don't really know why I'm posting other than to say hello and "trails off, not sure what I'm doing" Blush

Hi, I had PND with my DD (7 months) - its really tough. I found talking to my HV helped a lot and so did going to my GP. Are you able to do this?

Please don't worry or feel embarrassed. It is hard but it will get better if you can talk to people around you. Can you talk to your DP/DH.

Be kind to yourself. Sends hugs

I really don't want to talk to anyone. It's ok on here because no ones real, if you know what I mean.
Thanks for saying hi! I don't really have anyone that even knows I'm struggling except for my husband l and I feel very lonely quite a lot at the moment Hmm

It might help to feel less lonely if you were to talk to your GP or HV. They can't pass on anything you've told them and it might help. Have you got friends that you cold phone.

Hi Micha,

My DS is almost 2 I was diagnosed with PND when he was 7 months but I'm still struggling with it. I'm better than I was but still have bad days.

Here if you need a to chat to someone who understands what it's like

Hi Carmel and thanks
I know it does get better, third child - second time with pnd. But at the moment feeling better feels such a long way off. I feel much worse this time. I still have good days, but the bad days feel much darker than they did.
