marking place no nothing happening other than can't sleep and decided that I dont like new haircut, and dont really know what to do about it as ive had a lot cut off, so I can see to change nappies when baby finally arrives, still havin BHs about every 10 mins in day, getting fed up of them but sa MW today said top of baby's head started to engage, which doesnt really mean anything but a good sign. so off now to try to get to sleep...

Hi all, quick update from me. Been up since 4 having contractions and bad back pain. Not really regular, anywhere between 10 and 20 mins but hopefully it is the start of something.

ilgb sending labour vibes your way. looks like you will be next.

Yes we managed to "do it" this morning , DH now feels used, as it was mainly to try and bring on labour although it was quite nice too.

Caitni - I feel for you too... really hope as I type this you are starting to feel something! You got some excellent advice already, I don't really have anything further to add, although I agree that the birth doesn't really matter that much in the long run. Best of luck!
