Just seen we will need a new thread again soon!! shock
Just popping in quickly to catch up, I have not stopped today!

Wook that is terrible, I hope someone will come and see you over you weekend, I would say being overdue and not having seen anyone since October makes you high priority! angry sad for you

Kyte Hope everything has gone well for you today and that you are now holding your lo.

Lissy hope you are feeling a bit better.

*Any news on preggo?

I have felt really uncomfortable the last 2 days and think that the baby has engaged even more, my bump looks like a football now! I've been getting period type pains on and off for the last few nights too, so think (s)he is getting ready.

wook just read your post shock how crap is that! I did not think you were allowed to go over without being seen?

I have a midwife AND a consultant appt booked for my due date, although now i am midwife led care i am not sure what the consultant appt is for hmm and am not seeing anyone now for 2wks. I thought it was weekly after 36wks hmm but hey what do i know! I hope you get to see someone very soon though, that is really shite.

wizzy did you make the butternut squash soup? I usually just roast with a lot of olive oil, with seeds and skin on and scoup out once roasted. Then fry onion, add grated carrot and squash, and then simmer with little cumin, orange zest and couple of slices of orange, chicken stock then whizz in blender. Today, we heated it and added large splash of double cream...yum!

I can't remember who talked about Red as a name, i love it for a boy, really do. I also absolutely love Blue. We almost had this on our list but felt it might be a bit 'out there' but after hearing them again, might put them back on grin

raggie, southern and hobnob yaaaaay, I know, I am so excited about Monday and getting up when I want!

Southern are you watching the fireworks? Loads around here, and I am being a miserable sod and wishing they would stop being so noisy! grin

Kyte, was thinking of you today - hope you are OK and looking forward to hearing from you!
beepbeep am a 3rd time labour here and yes, your mw is right, stop start is definitely the case hmm

BBL yes DS is 4 next Weds. I've booked up the party for the 15th as was presuming this one would be early, but he's not arrived yet!! As long as he's here I should be ok as will have help to sort the food and we've booked an entertainer for the kids so I don't have to do anything. Holding it in my church hall so don't have to clean either. Am just really hoping he doesn't decide to come on DS' birthday so that they at least get a day of their own as they grow up!

wook angry on your behalf. I don't get seen again now until 41 weeks and heavens knows if I'll be offered a sweep then.

erika glad you and your brother are having a good spell grin

Wook that is dreadful. I'm so sorry to had to wait in all day and still noone came. You'd think that the fact you haven't been seen my a community midwife since early october, and are now 6 days overdue that you might class as priority. I hope all is ok and you get to see someone, or have the baby soon.

Erika that is really sweet of your brother and I'm glad that you and he are getting on so well at the moment. He sounds like he is very excited about Bryn being born.

Kaster glad you have finished work now. Hopefully you can start to relax and have a well deserved rest at last.

DH and DD have gone to fireworks. I would have loved to go with them, but there is just no way I could have stood up (especially in the torrential rain and mud) for that long! I'm about to rush upstairs and look out the window to see if I can see them - the fireworks, not dd and dh

If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
