Hello everyone...
Had a positive test this morning, suspect due on 3rd June. Gulp! Very surprised as DD is only 9 months and it took me 2 years to conceive the first time around.
Anyone here to join teh long wait?
XX scared
Hello everyone, it's been a few days since my last post I think, have been spectacularly sick! I am really fed up. And I have been having gripey pains on and off for a few days but loads today, so I am really stressing. Nothing positive or cheery to say I'm afraid! Oh yes, filly thanks for your kind offer re the crunchie nuggets, will bear it in mind! Hope you're ok tonight x
At 1000 messages. Does this mean we have to start a new thread?
If anyone needs cheering up or just wants a laugh,go to the *dear dp* thread i have totaly pmsl

So sorry cheekymonkey, how awful for you, I hope you are being well looked after.
Its great everyone is getting scan dates through, we're finally getting/got to the end of the first trimester! So am I the only one who hasn't got a scan date at 10+5??. I think with my first pregnancy I only got 2 days notice which was a nightmare to organise time off work at such short notice for DH and I who work at same company without anyone getting suspicious. Is it only my hospital that does this, or are other's hospitals equally unorganised? I might phone mid next week and see if I can chivvy them along

nooooooooo filly are you ok? ohmygod, its not too late though, did they have wet floor signs up? if not then they could be in big big trouble. maybe you should phone m&s helpline and explain whats happened, their customer service is amazing and they will wantto know you are ok. maybe you should get checked out by gp/nurse just to be on the safe side? bloody hell.
Did they at least note it in an accident book filly? Were they aware of the leak beforehand?
Inspired by LittleRobbo I headed off to investigate the M&S £10 deal on my way home from work....one of their fridges was leaking and I stepped in some water and went flying right across the floor, landing hard against another fridge. Am ok, but feeling quite shaken and bruised...they were asking if I wanted first aid/to sit down etc and all I was worrying about was not being late home for the dcs, so ran off. Now wondering whether I shouldn't have complained properly as the soreness kicks in?
Hope everyone has good weekends...
Thanks Filly. I think you're probably right - 'professional-Gizmo-woman' might just have to step in. I wonder if I should have some sort of costume? Maybe with a cape?
I think you'll be fine in your classes, provided a) you don't exercise to total breathlessness and/or really high temperature and b) you keep an eye on what your body is saying re aches and pains. My ligaments are definitely starting to soften up now (as periodic stabbing coccyx pains remind me) so reducing weights sounds sensible. IIRC, I was running 2/3 times a week until about 24 weeks with DS2, but I'm really struggling with energy and nausea this time around so I'm already down to 3x a week and maybe a yoga session.
On the clothes front, agree with all those advocating ebay, particularly once you've had a chance to work out different labels' sizing policy. There are some things (Isabella Olivier springs to mind) which are still £££ there but if you buy bundles you can often get around the sizing problem because the ebayer selling them will have done homework on what fits and what doesn't.
If I was any more sedate filly I wouldn't even get out of bed

. But I was using the gym regularly when I got pregnant with ds, and continued to do so for months.
so sorry
cheekymonkey hope your 2 dc's and dh give you lots of comfort.
