Doula anyone????

(19 Posts)
Hi there
I completed my doula training in October 2008 and I am now qualified as a birth and post-natal Doula.
At the moment, I am in the process of working towards recognition status with Doula UK (www.doula.org.uk) so therefore I am offering my services a very discounted rate.

If you are pregnant and looking for a Doula, please do get in touch...x

Hi, I recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. This was my second child and I used the services of a Doula. I have to say she made the experiance much more managable and dare I say enjoyable, despite the fact I was petrified because baby came early. I think if you can afford it and even if you cant its well worth doing, especially if your anxious or scared due to previous birth experiances. My doula was from an agency called Blossoms Doulas I think they have a website and i would definately reccomend them if you live in London.
I hope all goes well with your pregnancy. x

Hi Turtle, I might be too early but I'd be really interested in your services?
We live in Redhill - I'm currently 7+4 but I have we have no mothers to call on and the rest of our family are pretty useless and live up north.
I'm already feeling very nervous!

http://www.doula.org.uk

We have a hardship fund if money is really an issue, which means the doula will work for a very reduced fee which Doula UK will fund.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
