misog2000 Tue 29-Apr-14 07:11:18

marking my place. As I'm one of the latest Edds on the thread I'm feeling a bit behind you all hmm

No real bump, no definite movements felt yet and two more weeks till my scan. Getting impatient for a sign all is ok in there now.

I'm busily watching pushchairs on eBay, I want a Quinny Buzz and there have been some going for really reasonable prices near me, I just keep missing them cause I'm in work meetings, or last night I fell asleep and missed the end.

We are moving in August so can't decorate etc till then, I would rather not move so late in the pregnancy but that's when our lease is up and I can't stand my neighbours any longer than I have to!

Checking in too. Thanks for starting the new thread!

Nazly Tue 29-Apr-14 07:57:46

Thanks for the new thread smile and Katerina, thanks for adding me in back on stats

I have been on scale again, 12 additional kg!!!! That's a few pounds below two stones!!! And that is more than one fifth of my weight before pregnancy... What is happening to me! I am trying to keep to healthy low fat low sugar options and eat salads and fruits (but I have at least one sweet thing a day as can't seem to go without it..) I just hope I can get rid of the weight after birth ... sad I was a size 10 before, hate to change sizes .... How likely is that to happen?

I envy all of you who have only put on a few pounds... If anybody told you off just tell them I know somebody on MN who has already put on this much !!! smile

22Weeks today.... Not long to go now and have done nearly nothing useful for baby yet! Just Have been to a nearly new sale and I loved it; bought loads of clothes for the little one for between 50p and 3pounds each item some still have their tag on, most from mothercare or next... Can't wait for the next one near us...

Sorry ... Long post... Have a good day all

bugoven Tue 29-Apr-14 08:19:29

Hello everyone. I was on the other threads but have dropped off the stats.

bugoven EDD 7th September Team Blue

nazly I have gain about a stone now and was in the overweight category before pregnancy. The thing is I am smaller everywhere else apart from my bust and bump. Please don't over worry. A very petite lady at work gained 4 stone. As long as you are eating lots of nutritious food you have nothing to worry about.

Laura2611 Tue 29-Apr-14 08:22:22

Thanks for the new thread! Just checking in smile

cookielove Tue 29-Apr-14 08:27:43

Hello all smile

I've put on 5lbs so far but I started off a size 14 top and 16 bottom and I also lost 7lbs in the first 15 weeks so not sure if I really have put on anything!

I really look pregnant now, as I had a pot belly before and now it really does stick out!

misog we got a quinny buzz 3 off of ebay for £150 its beautiful and barely used!

Thanks for the new thread. I've added Dear Dinah and bugoven as well as changing mine to Team Pink! I'm now getting excited about buying dresses.

I don't know how much weight I've put on as I may have thrown the scales away in a temper a couple of years ago blush but I definitely have a bump going now as less and less of my clothes actually fit...

polkadotdelight Tue 29-Apr-14 08:46:11

Just checking into the new thread to say Good Morning! We are on holiday this week, short break away in Cornwall and it's lovely! I don't think I'm the only one but I get breathless very very easily (I don't usually) and I struggled when we went out for a walk last night. That's going to get worse isn't it!

xxmissbrightsidexx Tue 29-Apr-14 08:47:48

Marking place, halfway bloody hell :0

Today's 20week scan day! Oh god I think I'm gonna be sick.
Good luck any other ladies with scans today xx

IAteSomeofthePies Tue 29-Apr-14 09:14:09

Checking in. Thanks for the new thread!

Brightside good luck for the scan today

Polkadot I noticed breathlessness while we were on holiday, too. It seems better the past two weeks, though.

I've gained a couple of pounds just this week. Yesterday it actually felt like I was stretching. Very strange feeling!

FoodieMum3 EDD 15th September, team yellow

Hello September mumstibe, I'd like to join you all. I'm expecting my 3rd baby in September, edd said sept 15th, 12 week scan said sept 14th but I'll go with EDD because I am hoping for a vbac.

I'm 20 weeks now and last night was the first night where I had DEFINITE movement and lots of it. I had not felt anything in weeks so went to get checked out and turns out placenta is anterior so harder to feel movemement. Hoping baby keeps it up now, it was so lovely last night.

Looking forward to chatting to you all. X

rockin20s Tue 29-Apr-14 10:04:29

I'll be 20 weeks this Thursday, cant believe its half way already. i felt the first trimester was very slow but this trimester is flying by!!

I think i will fight fire with fire the next time i see my sister, she is over weight (has been all her life) and i think she is just reveling in my weight gain as i have always been smaller then her (i was a 12-14 before getting pregnant so not exactly skinny) if she says I'm huge I'll point out she is too but at least I'm growing a baby! hopefully that will shut her up!

i know once the baby is her she will be obsessed with my weight loss too, that thought is already pissing me off.

FoodieMum3 Tue 29-Apr-14 10:04:50

LMP, not EDD!

holls2000 Tue 29-Apr-14 10:06:43

Hi there,
I have been lurking for a while (not in a stalkery sort of way, you understand!) - EDD is Sept 25th.
I'm an anxious mum (to quote my midwife!) due to 2 mmcs - both were at 5 weeks, so now I am nearly 19, I am hoping that we are ok.
Don't think I have felt any movements yet, I had a sort of flipping feeling high up in my tummy the other day, but that could have been the way I was sitting. Mind you, I have quite a bit of chub for the movement to get through...
Definate bump, but it's pretty high - above my tummy button is hard but below is pretty squidgy. Mind you, when I sit down, it just all looks fat and I look even more of a porker than I did before!
Haven't been hungry at all this pregnancy UNTIL THIS WEEK when I could EAT ALL THE TIME!! Thank goodness for the lovely women in our school kitchen who are happy to make me sandwiches at 9.30am...I swear, my tummy rumbles even when I am eating!
Anyway, that's my life story, snooze, but thank you, you have kept me sane in the last few weeks and please can I join you?
Holls xx

FoodieMum3 Tue 29-Apr-14 10:15:00

Rockin20s I can't believe your sister, another FEMALE would comment like that on your pregnant body shock

Holls, you poor thing. I've never had a loss and I worry so I really can't imagine the worry you must go through. But I hope you can relax now and begin to enjoy It and just picture this baby that you will hold in your arms in 20 more weeks x
I'm also carrying a little extra weight blush and my bump is exactly like yours, high and 'pointy' and nothing underneath. Also disappears to mush when I sit down, especially driving. Don't worry about movement, I was worried because as it is my third it is usual to feel it weeks ago. (But also normal not to, incase I'm alarming anyone).

KitKat1985 Tue 29-Apr-14 10:57:32

Thanks for new thread HippyJess! Can't believe we're all pretty much halfway now!

Actually quite relieved to hear I'm not the only one who has put on quite a bit of weight already, as I weighed myself this morning and I've put on 13 and a half pounds!!! I was a normal BMI before and about a size 12, so this all feels very sudden! I know I'm pretty much halfway now (20 weeks tomorrow) but was feeling a bit rubbish as loads of you seem to have only out on a few pounds so far, and I wondered what on earth I was doing wrong! Although I do have to admit that my fortnights holiday to America between weeks 15 and 17 saw me gain several pounds very quickly I will say though that bump is now very obvious and most of weight seems to have gone to my bump and boobs. rockin20's I hope your sister isn't rude about your weight. A couple of people where I work have made the occasional 'hello fatty' comment and I know how depressing it is!

Welcome to the thread hols2000. Sorry to hear about your previous losses. thanks

Good luck with scan missbrightside! xx

Dazedconfused Tue 29-Apr-14 10:59:07

dazedconfused edd 20th Sept team yellow for now

just checking in think I felt some proper Kicks yesterday for the first time...been a few flutters and bubbles for about a week. is my first so am not sure but since an 19+3 can assume it is that.
Am still to scared to do any shopping so amn waiting until after the next scan which is a week on Thursday...still feels like ages.

ilovemonstersInc Tue 29-Apr-14 12:29:26

Thank you for the new thread

did I ever say I love my quinny? grin
Someone who is buying a double please invest and don't go for a cheap option like we did. I wanted a Icandy blossom double as they looked like a double quinny but are very expensive so we settled with hauck duett which is shit. Will probably use it as a single and use quinny too. As a single its not too bad. Oncw the weight is in there its horrible and swerves to one side hmm

xxmissbrightsidexx Tue 29-Apr-14 12:35:01

We've had our scan, we're having our first princess smile
But the scan picked up that there could be something wrong with her, she might have cystic fibrosis (fingers crossed that she doesn't). We spent ages chatting in the counselling room, had tests done etc, so have to wait three weeks for the results. Worried sick, I was a wreck soon as I walked into the scan cos I've had a gut feeling something would go wrong today for weeks, but trying to stay positive as every other bit of her was perfect x
