And by naked milk run...I mean do the fridge downstairs, not the shop down the road!

Jolleigh Fri 30-Aug-13 22:55:47

(imagines the embarrassment of running naked to the shops and doing a sneeze-wee)

BionicEar Fri 30-Aug-13 23:10:33

grin Sorry that made me laugh!

Jolleigh Fri 30-Aug-13 23:13:52

I even laughed when I did it. Didn't help that the dog looked at me in disgust.

BionicEar Fri 30-Aug-13 23:18:27

Did that make you wee more?! Sorry lowing the tone even more! grin

Jolleigh Fri 30-Aug-13 23:20:33

Had a bit more control of my pelvic floor by then. God help me when I'm 8 months gone!

BionicEar Fri 30-Aug-13 23:21:46

Ah by then we'll be wearing massive knickers with pads stuffed right down them, and several spares in our handbags!

Good job the dog can't talk eh?! wink

BionicEar Fri 30-Aug-13 23:24:21

Made the mistake of telling DD that I was trying to eat more healthy whilst pg. So now she looks at what I'm eating and says in disapproving tone, "I thought YOU said you were going to eat more healthy, is THAT healthy?!"

So dear Martians don't tell the sprogs you are trying to eat healthily as they are worst than judgey mws!

Hello. Seriously? I turn around for one minute and you're on the 2nd page of 6th thread! grin

Had to go through an appraisal today. Smiling with all my teeth to keep the nausea at bay: My prayers were partially answered when it came to a swift end. Unfortunately my race to the bathroom and strength of breakfast resurfacing combined in a wetting of my pants. With some quick thinking I removed my trousers in between hurls to avoid further damage.

And after cleaning the floor, myself and my clothes, spent the rest of the day commando!

Pram that is totes cute.. And what a clear scan. Lovely nieces you ave! My step kids made me a mother's card from muffin when I was about to pop, I've kept it in his baby book. Just been tending to poor scratchy pox boy. He'd pulled off his nappyfor a good scratch and peed the bed also sad sad . Jolls been there with sneeze wee also wink and pram could strum to the end last time I reckon even if I couldn't hold my wee in wink . ...

Rockchick1984 Sat 31-Aug-13 07:07:36

Hello all, sorry for being quiet, was at a wedding yesterday. All good fun but strange to be sober grin

Bra talk at the end of the last thread - underwired bras are fine as long as you are wearing the correct size. It only causes problems if the underwire is pressing on the breast tissue. So, big-boobed ladies, don't suffer the mono-boob!!! Mine are sadly not so big, but I can't do without my padding smile

Apprentice how's your little chicken poxed one feeling?

Pram that pic is far too cute!

MummyPig24 Sat 31-Aug-13 07:14:30

pram that pic is cute!

I'm so nervous, in 3 hours and 10 minutes I will hopefully be seeing my little baby on the screen. I've lost my bloody letter too, it says we need to bring it but I can't find it anywhere. I've found my first letter for the first scan I was offered on sept 7th, but I can't find the letter for the scan today. Tell me it doesn't really matter!

apprenticemamma Sat 31-Aug-13 07:15:48

apprenticemamma Sat 31-Aug-13 07:16:56

good luck mummy pig! Will there be just the one in theregrin

Rockchick1984 Sat 31-Aug-13 07:20:36

Mummy I've never needed mine, although obviously this pregnancy I messed up and missed my appointment somehow so I should have had it just for myself grin Good luck, you will be fine, can't wait to see your scan pic.

Apprentice wrap some porridge oats in a muslin cloth and throw it into a bath with him, it can help to ease the itching. DS wasn't actually unwell when he had it, just like a cold, but the itching was bothering him and keeping him awake, was awful and I felt so helpless but sooooo knackered, and I wasn't pregnant, you are doing a fab job!

ikab Sat 31-Aug-13 07:23:05

mummy it doesn't really matter. I've taken paperwork (app letter, nhs card, even passport when told to) to all appointments and they haven't checked any of it! I guess you could take the old letter for your Hosp/Nhs refs.

ikab Sat 31-Aug-13 07:26:35

And good luck to you and all other weekend scanees!

apprenticemamma Sat 31-Aug-13 07:27:00

mummy it won't matter. They'll want ur dob and address if u don't have letter. I forgot mine for ds scan.

PiratesMam Sat 31-Aug-13 07:28:38

Morning all.

apprentice poor you and DS. I was up at 3am too because DD lost her bunny rabbit and then DS said his bed wasn't quite right?! At least at the age they are now I can just hiss at them "go back to sleep!" Ad a result DD has only just woken up and DS is still snoring. Inlaws here at the mo so I'm staying in bed for a while!

lib bless you that sounds awful! Still, liberating to go commando at work?!

pram your nieces are lovely grin And if that isn't a girl baby in your tum I will be surprised; it's so elegant. Hope you had a great birthday!

rock it is really weird at weddings if you're not drinking isn't it! I'm not keen on weddings anyway to be honest; I feel like I've been to thousands of them. We're invited to an evening do of one next month but I'm sending DH on his own! It's his friend and as I won't be able to drink I'd have had a rubbish time and as a result so would he; this way at least our child care issue is solved.

Feeling a lot better now but is this just because of the meds? Only retching a couple of times a day. Just don't want to stay on the medication for too long.

Have good weekends all! grin

PiratesMam Sat 31-Aug-13 07:30:06

Oh Mummypig good luck today! And to all scannees! Hope you all get good pornographers grin

apprenticemamma Sat 31-Aug-13 07:31:54

thanks rockchick. I'm going to try the porridge next after breakfast. Appreciate ur kind words, when the worlds asleep can feel so alone and sad . It does also make me panic about (a) sleep deprivation next year and (b) how to manage two.....shock . My ds is like yours ...not actually unwell just snivelly and scratchy so guess could be worse...

apprenticemamma Sat 31-Aug-13 07:37:18

SoSurprised Sat 31-Aug-13 07:54:18

Marking my place.
Pram that is adorable.
Just 2 more days to my scan!

Wuxiapian Sat 31-Aug-13 08:35:31

Marking place.
