HeyMicky Sun 22-Jan-12 19:44:53

Congratulations Mummeee smile This is DC1 for us, so all very new and exciting here. Sore boobs, that's it physically, but obviously completely thrilledterrified/mental otherwise. You?

mummeeee Sun 22-Jan-12 20:32:01

Sore boobs too...and not slept well the last few nights...which seems hormonal to me.

Also, excited/trying to get my head round it all...it shouldn't be a surprise cos we were ttc, but my mind is doing overtime! grin glad you're excited too

Good luck at the docs winnie

Winnie81 Sun 22-Jan-12 23:02:45

I haven't really had any symptoms so far, haven't slept well since we found out but that's cos it's exciting and nerve racking all at the same time!

We have spent the day with family and shared the news, I know it's sooo early but we have our reasons!!

babybrain3 Tue 24-Jan-12 19:44:46

Hi, can I join too?? Got my BFP yesterday, due 3 Oct- my birthday is 5th!!! Will be no. 3 for me and 1 for DP. We've been tic since last April, mc in aug, and here we are again, slightly apprehensive and scared, but keeping fingers crossed it all goes without a hitch this time round..

Felt really sick yesterday, not so much today, but really suffering with headaches. I've not been sleeping well either. I'm sure I woke every hour last night sad loving every minute though!! gringringringrin

Winnie81 Tue 24-Jan-12 20:44:38

Welcome babybrain, it's very exciting isn't it! I've been feeling a little peaky but only very mild!!

HeyMicky Wed 25-Jan-12 11:34:28

Hi babybrain, poor thing, no nausea here yet. Mum didn't get morning sickness so I'm praying I'm in the 20% who don't. Dr confirmed my home test this morning, so it's all on!

babybrain3 Wed 25-Jan-12 11:57:38

Was your estimated dd correct heymickey??

HeyMicky Wed 25-Jan-12 13:29:09

Don't know - they've referred me to my local hospital, who will apparently pick that up. Based on last period it's Sept 27, on ovulation date it's 7 October. So somewhere about then

DeeLite Wed 25-Jan-12 14:02:27

Hello everyone and congratulations. Sorry about your loss in August babybrain.

I am tentatively reserving a space for me and my pip as I got a faint positive this morning giving me a due date of 4th October. Very excited as we've been trying since August and I was beginning to get pretty despondent.

No symptoms here. I have a little spotting the past four or five days. Do you think I need to mention this to my GP? Otherwise, all is as normal except for being absolutely ecstatic (and hopefully not prematurely so) at my faint positive.

babybrain3 Wed 25-Jan-12 18:41:37

Hi dee your light spotting may have been implantation bleeding, in which case congratulations are defo in order!!! gringringrin

festiemum Wed 25-Jan-12 18:47:46

Hello all,

Got my bfp this morning - due date 3rd oct! Dc4 for me(!) but 1st for me and dh together. Had a chemical pg in August, so obs slightly anxious, but hoping this time the pip will sprout!

Hi winnie! Hi dee! smile

Winnie81 Wed 25-Jan-12 19:17:20

Hey festie & dee too! Wow thanks for coming to join me! Let's hope we get some more BFPs that will come along!!

How is everyone today?

babybrain3 Wed 25-Jan-12 19:38:26

I've been feeling not too bad today, apart from the tiredness... grin

mummeeee Wed 25-Jan-12 20:04:45

Hi babybrain,dee and festie

Really pleased to hear about your BFP's

Sorry I've not been about, I work Monday and Tuesday so find it hard to find the time to come on mn.

I am currently lying in bed. Needed a lie down after getting my DCs to bed!...so tiredness v much kicking in here. Have had a few sort of sharp pains in my tummy, which of course worry me a bit cos it's such early days. Think it's a bit of over active imagination tbh but am trying to take it easy just in case.

Don't feel sick at all yet, but had quite bad sickness with my previous pregnancies. It's prob just too early yet.

How're you all?

DeeLite Wed 25-Jan-12 20:15:20

Hi Festie and Winnie - so happy to be joining you here smile.

Babybrain, I guess it is probably implantation bleeding. When you google it, the US sites always say "probably fine but make sure you inform your gynae"...like as if we all have gynaes! Assuming it tapers off in the next few days, I'll put it down to implantation.

Mummeee, now you come to mention tiredness, my back is tired this evening although I have a poorly DS needing lots of carrying and have also been on my feet most of the day. I'm in work all day tomorrow so will get a nice sit down thankfully!

Pezzina Thu 26-Jan-12 12:19:36

Hi all, can I join? I am due end of Sept beginning of Oct 2012. Not entirely sure until I have the dating scan as I usually ovulate quite late in my cycle. This will be our second child. Very excited! AND a little apprehensive with all the same worries I had the first time round. Don't really have any symptons at the moment apart from fuller breasts, a strange taste in my mouth and slight cramping every now and then.

babybrain3 Thu 26-Jan-12 15:37:35

I seem to have developed tingly itchy boobs, confused fortunately I am in the office on my own grin

HeyMicky Thu 26-Jan-12 18:55:59

The boobs I can scratch subtly, it's the wind that's the problem at work

WeeSooty Thu 26-Jan-12 21:22:28

Hi everyone,

Can I cautiously join this group?

I got a BFP yesterday and even tho we were trying I’m still in a state of shock! I got a negative last week and so was completely taken aback with the positive result! Only did it cause I was meant to be out drinking last night, was really glad I had tested!

I think I should be due between end of September and maybe the 10th October, my periods were not regular so hard to tell, hopefully doctors on Monday can make it clearer..

Can I ask a question that is really bothering me? Haven’t told anyone the news yet and can’t really share this feeling with my husband… I am terrified! Is that normal? I know that we were trying, although only started trying this month, but I am still utterly shocked and scared! I just feel like I’m not myself anymore. Mostly I am happy but then I just get hit with a wave of being overwhelmed! I’m 26, married and this will be our first baby, we both have steady jobs and well money wise not great but we will be ok… But I am still terrified! I keep having to stop myself from crying with nerves! Please someone tell me this is ok??? sad

Anyway in other symptoms…

mummee I am also getting quite sharp pains in my tummy but trying to convince myself I’m over reacting! So its kinda nice to know I’m not alone in that one!

I am utterly shattered! Came home from work and fell asleep for 2 hours! Hope this doesn’t continue cause I’m a grumpy cow when I’m tired!

O HeyMicky I totally sympathise on the wind issue, I am mortified all the time just now! blush

The one thing I’m really looking forward to is the bigger boobs! I have tiny boobs so I just can’t wait! Lol blush

Massive first post! Sorry, it’s the nerves again!

Hope everyone has had a good day and not too tired.
