I avoided it for ages because I hate the fact they have penis heads and heard it was really annoying too. I finally watched an episode with dd and omg I think I love it more than she does. I love the way mummy pig and daddy pig aren't perfect and I actually find myself laughing at some of the episodes hmm The one with the grandparents and the lorry of gnomes grin And the ice puddle when peppa fell over muahhaha.

AIBU to like it more than dd seems to?

DipMeInChocolate Tue 10-Dec-13 15:16:46

It has its merits, but encouraging children to jump in muddy puddles is not one of them. [Don't like messy kids]

MrsTerrysChocolateOrange Tue 10-Dec-13 15:16:54

Just wait. That theme tune will burrow its way inside your head and you will end up humming it at 3am

MOTU Tue 10-Dec-13 15:19:11

I don't think anyone could like it more than my DD does but I do love it, it's hilarious, my husband sings the grampy rabbit songs which makes me laugh so much. It has seeped into almost every part of our lives now! It's the only tolerable thing on telly so sick days involve a lot of peppa pig in our house!!

loisismyhero Tue 10-Dec-13 15:19:55

Ben and Holly is better. Nanny Plum and the Wise Old Elf are hilarious - and I laugh out.loud every time I see the episode about the boat eating fish: "It's mutiny! Mutiny on the Bunty!"

BlackholesAndRevelations Tue 10-Dec-13 15:22:12

I love it too! Very funny!

sutekidane Tue 10-Dec-13 15:24:06

That's one of the reasons I avoided so long dip! I read loads of posts on here about what terrible examples it sets for children so was like "MY DD IS NOT WATCHING THAT FIIIILTH". And then fell in love with it myself <3

My niece watches a lot of Peppa and that's what my mum said, the theme will never leave her head. Peeeeppa Pig! <snort snort> I feel we have missed out so much aaaah!

I am about 2.5 years in to the 'Peppa Phase'. I will be really sad when the youngest DC doesn't want to watch it any more blush. The end of an era! grin

sutekidane Tue 10-Dec-13 15:59:32

2.5 years! I wonder if I will still love Peppa after that long. I'm recording all the episodes just in case though muhahaha.

defineme Tue 10-Dec-13 16:06:17

I love it and have done for a very long time - since it came out in 2004 I think!
All of life is there. When we went to the dentists, the doctors, the supermarket etc there was always an episode to reflect that - very important with asd ds1 who is obsessed with peppa.
Best ever moment was when dh reluctantly started to climb a tree in the rain to retrieve a kite and dd shouted out 'just like daddy pig did'

JinglingRexManningDay Tue 10-Dec-13 16:15:51

Do do do do do dododo do do do,do do do do do dodododo do.

MommyBird Tue 10-Dec-13 16:19:21

Miss Rabbit and Mr Fox are my faves!

The one with the Nibbles up the tree and Mommy Pig at the fare grin

Amrapaali Tue 10-Dec-13 16:26:31

Hate the snorts. Hate the stick legs and arms. Hate Daddy Pig. Hate it. angry

OP, you are being very, very, very unreasonable. That is all.

sutekidane Tue 10-Dec-13 16:35:49

2004! I didn't realise it was so old! That must mean there's loads of episodes waiting for us grin

I must admit amra for the first 2 mins or so, the snorting annoyed me and the skinny legs on the fat bodies made me rage but then George did his crying thing and I was sucked in!

revivingshower Tue 10-Dec-13 16:36:59

I used to love Peppa. I quite like daddy pig he is lazy but does help out about the house. I like the episode where he tries to put up a picture and ends up making a hole in the wall.

ouryve Tue 10-Dec-13 16:40:47

We all love Peppa Pig. Even my 10yo, who loves the comedy.

DS2, who is 7 and pretty much non-verbal was chanting "Pehhhhppa Peeeeeg!" on the way to school, this morning!

We're amused by all Miss Rabbit's jobs!

I love the adult jokes in it. Especially in the driving in italy episode!

KittyLane1 Tue 10-Dec-13 17:49:44

I like the subtle adult humour such as grandad pig showing peppa his pet chickens and Mr fox just happens to hanging around them.

Ben and Holly is very funny

YABU, very. I hate peppa sodding get-in-a-bacon-butty pig. Thank god we are well past that stage!!

Aquariusgirl86 Tue 10-Dec-13 17:54:09

We are watching now! My kiss have a peppa themed room and love it! Ben and holly also awesome!

BlackholesAndRevelations Tue 10-Dec-13 17:57:07

And then he fixes the hole, and mummy pug effortlessly hangs the pic up in a couple of seconds! genius! grin

42notTrendy Tue 10-Dec-13 17:57:52

The new car was a particular favourite. And I'd forgotten about the holiday in Italy, hilarious.
Ds is 7, but every so often, if he's very tired, he'll have a peppa pig moment. smile

SparkleToffee Tue 10-Dec-13 18:04:02

YANBU - both my DC have lived it and it is v sweet. i like Nr Fox and Mummy Rabbit and Pedro Pony ! But I do think that Peppa is a bit if a brat sometimes , and that sodding Mr Potato is Coming to Town song will not get out if my head!

HaPPy8 Tue 10-Dec-13 18:08:07

Love it. And Ben and Holly. The makers should be knighted.

Ugh you are being sooo unreasonable!

She's a bratty little madam who needs manners putting on her!

I live in hope that one day one of her "muddy puddles" will be man hole and she'll fall, grunting to her death.

sutekidane Tue 10-Dec-13 18:56:23

Aaah I can't wait to see all these episodes <saddo>. And nooo don't put peppa in a butty or manhole!

Plomino Tue 10-Dec-13 19:15:09

We love it here too . 'Oh I didn't expect THAT to happen ' has become a bit of a family saying . Love Ben and Holly too , especially Nanny Plum .

'Ooh Nanny ! Doing all the cleaning up ourselves instead of using magic is so much fun ! '. 'Grumble grumble mutter ' from Nanny Plum . Love it .

laikalooo Tue 10-Dec-13 19:23:48

My 18 month old loves peppa pig and Ben and holly! However, they pose a lot of questions - where are all the male fairies? Why do the elves do all the work and is Pedro Pony a little bit neglected? Maybe I'm over thinking it...

FrankSpenser Tue 10-Dec-13 19:27:31

We are a Peppa Pig loving family here, too OP!

My DS channels Edward Elephant. Yesterday we're out and he is pootleing along with me holding and looking at his favourite bug book.
"Look. A snail....veeery interesting"
"Look. A worm...veeery interesting" grin

Daddy Pig is a big ol' would be know it all. What's that Mummy Pig? Of course I know what I'm doing, I am an expert at such things.

Ooops. Well, I didn't expect that to happen. Snort.

LoreleisSecret Tue 10-Dec-13 19:33:26

I absolutely love Peppa Pig. (And Ben and holly actually)
We are going to peppa pig world at the weekend and I'm more excited about that than I am for Christmas

YANBU smile

soundedbetterinmyhead Tue 10-Dec-13 19:33:35

Love it! Have coined: Ooh, Mr Skinny-legs IS big, isn't he? when there's a spider and when helping with French homework, 'Well, that bit says 'Dear Peppa' and the rest...well the rest is just all nonsense'.

Mouthfulofquiz Tue 10-Dec-13 19:46:52

I love the one when daddy pig is relaxing in the garden.... Thinking its a Saturday..... Then mummy pig tells him it's Thursday and he runs off to work in a panic with a jolly 'HoHoooo'
Love daddy pig - he's lush :-)

Preferably grunting death in a manhole for me, i'll forgo the peppa n brown sauce for the manhole.

Do feel free to read this thread to your children grin.

Mouthfulofquiz Daddypig is LUSH??? <head tilt> Are you, ok?

sutekidane Tue 10-Dec-13 19:55:45

And oh dear mouthfulofquiz, I'm afraid this thread has taken an unexpected turn on that one! shock

Kasterborous Tue 10-Dec-13 20:02:49

I used to be just the same and loved it. DD loves it and always wants to watch it. I no longer love it seen it too much. But don't dislike it and it can be quite funny 'ah bull in a china shop' grin but Miss Rabbits voice is so annoying I wish she would get miximatosis.

Moltobene Tue 10-Dec-13 20:08:18

I love the crying tears! Just watched the Edmund Elephant birthday party where Peppa and her friend make all the little kids in the party cry... hilarious

BikeRunSki Tue 10-Dec-13 20:12:19

I thought Peppa was annoying until ds started watching videos on YouTube (we have it in our telly) of people playing Lego/Star Wars/Hotwheels. Am secretly on dd's side when she is campaigning for "Poppa peeg".

ZombiePenguin Tue 10-Dec-13 20:17:58

It is genius.

PhilDavies1 Wed 11-Dec-13 18:16:51

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. We made both series intending them to be funny and charming in a way that will appeal to small children and the parents watching with them. We can't please all the audience all the time, but we keep trying, and you'll all be pleased to hear that its one of the very few animation series made entirely from start to finish in the UK by ourselves in our London animation studio. Oink Oink and happy Christmas all - Phil

loisismyhero Wed 11-Dec-13 18:44:47

There are a few male fairies in Ben and Holly - not many though I'll grant you. (I particularly love the Boris Johnson Mayor)

Llareggub Wed 11-Dec-13 18:50:44

Blimey! Phildavies1 your shows are worshipped in our house. In fact my sons are glued to Ben and Holly right now and I can't watch it without laughing out loud. My boyfriend has a crush on Nanny Plum (I get it) and I just love the Wise Old Elf.

loisismyhero Wed 11-Dec-13 19:25:36

PhilDavies1 my DS3 is obsessed with both Ben and Holly and Peppa Pig. He has Down Syndrome and very little speech, but he can recite whole chunks of both shows while he's watching (and he always falls on the floor laughing at the end of every episode of Peppa Pig!)

stinkysox Wed 11-Dec-13 19:29:58

Phil we too love peppa but could please tell me why miss rabbit has every job going? moneygrabbing bitch

BikeRunSki Wed 11-Dec-13 19:51:33

The episode where Daddy Pig hangs a picture and ends up replastering the wall is genius.

Hermionewastherealhero Wed 11-Dec-13 20:00:13

I have a 15month old DS and discovered peppa and Ben and holly last month and I bloody love them!
They are so funny, husband says he knows when peppa is on as he can hear me chuckling from upstairs!

Hermionewastherealhero Wed 11-Dec-13 20:01:10

Just wanted to add that I love the Delphine donkey episode with her luggage

GingerPCatt Wed 11-Dec-13 20:02:47

My DS loves peppa and we love grampy rabbit! Phil don't know if you have anything to do with merchandise but can they make some boys clothes with peppa on them? Sometimes I find George stuff but DS insists George is a baby and he is peppa

doodahwhatsit Wed 11-Dec-13 20:03:05

or the puppet show one where they joke about uncle pig sleeping after lunch and they have lots of red wine with spaghetti

also the mr fox and the chickens one smile

loisismyhero Wed 11-Dec-13 20:19:24

Oh! Oh! And the one where Mr Wolf is admiring Daddy Pig's house and Daddy Pig says "Don't even think about it" ! I love Mr Wolf - he's really smarmy.

TinyTear Wed 11-Dec-13 20:19:47

i love the one with edmund elephant's birthday where peppa is just 'helping'

going to the live show on saturday, can't wait!

loisismyhero Wed 11-Dec-13 20:22:09

Is there a Mrs Wise Old Elf hidden away somewhere or is the way clear for Nanny Plum? I love that his son's are pirates!

sneezecakesmum Wed 11-Dec-13 20:26:22

We all laugh at peppa pig fgrin

Mr Fox is ace! Proper spiv with his plastic gold and lorry full of 'stuff'. I think I've seen every episode at least ten times. It's one of the only programmes that I don't mind sitting and watching with the dc.

Love Ben and Holly with the Boris-a-like mayor too. Nanny Plum and Cedric (the Wise Old Elf, yes I am that sad) have some serious chemistry. grin

SolomanDaisy Wed 11-Dec-13 20:29:36

I can't believe anyone might think Pedro pony is neglected, he is the Norman price of peppa pig! We love peppa too, DS switches between it and fireman sam and peppa is much more fun to watch. We sing the Grampy Rabbit songs too, the sea the sky the sea the sky the sea the sky....

DS can recite his favourite episodes, which means he can also do things like recite the planets in order, thanks to Edmund elephant. When did real dinosaurs die out? 65 million years ago Mummy. We're Edmund fans.

sutekidane Wed 11-Dec-13 20:35:03

Oink oink! That's why Peppa is such a clever programme, adults can watch it too and enjoy it.

We had a peppa pig day today and watched a load before dd went to bed. Favourite moments were the sat nav telling them to drive in the river, daddy pig trying to ride peppas bike to work because mr skinny legs was on his car and mummy pig being snotty to daddy pig because his ball spilled her drink all down her grin

peppa was among the UK's top 10 viral videos.... Need I say more???

Peppa sweets are good, and the juice I buy in Singapore!

sutekidane Wed 11-Dec-13 20:49:50

If Peppa is in the top 10 YouTube videos, doesn't that mean I'm NOT being unreasonable? grin

DrinkFeckArseGirls Wed 11-Dec-13 21:00:54

Tiddles, not Nibbles! angryangryangry You Philistine! blush

I stand firm, Y (and millions more) are bvvvvvvu! grin

It's vile!

JuneauWhoIAm Wed 11-Dec-13 21:05:47

DH, can't stand Peppa pig and all the "Silly daddy pig" stuff.
I have to agree TBH.

Ben and holly on the other hand, genius smile

sisterelephant Wed 11-Dec-13 21:20:26

I also love it and nickjr pepper is on our tv 75% of the day!

I find myself getting annoyed when an episode I've already watched comes on!!

But then I do think 'obviously they are repeating them, its got its own bloody channel!!'

sutekidane Wed 11-Dec-13 21:22:33

It's own channel?! God I wish I had sky! We are making so with channel 5 sad

sutekidane Wed 11-Dec-13 21:23:03

LongTailedTit Wed 11-Dec-13 23:02:15

Love it love it love it! Esp the Mr Fox and chickens bit grin

I like spotting Peppa/BenHolly crossovers;
When they visit Pedro in hospital there's a Ben & Holly mural on the wall.
At King Thistle/Gaston's birthday party the band plays the song by The. Rocking Gazelles.
The fairy book Peppa gets out at the library is of Holly.

Also, check out the evolution poster in the museum... smile

I like the cross overs too, when the fairies are doing the tooth fairy thing at Lucy's house there is a Peppa Pig toy in the corner of the bedroom.

<goes and finds life>

Spaulding Thu 12-Dec-13 20:59:08

I've seen all those episodes and never noticed the crossovers before! blush

OP, I can't decide if YABU or not.

DS loves Peppa Pig and I do find myself getting into it sometimes, but it's not the cartoon of choice that I immediately put on. It's one of those ones that only goes on if DS specifically asks! Peppa is a bit od a brat sometimes which makes me dislike it a bit!

I do however LOVE the episode where Peppa is learning to whistle. She calls up Suzie Sheep who can whistle. I just love the bit where the line goes dead and Suze is going, "Peppa?"

thefuturesnotourstosee Thu 12-Dec-13 21:15:11

Can't watch it without craving a bacon sandwich. Surely this is not good

sutekidane Thu 12-Dec-13 21:19:08

I have a new favourite episode. It's the one where the rabbit gets her medal and she keeps fainting with a CLUNK.

DrinkFeckArseGirls Thu 12-Dec-13 21:34:30

Wtf Mummy's and Daddy's car has the steering wheel o the right? It doesn't make sense when they go to Italy and everyone is on the other side of the road. If they were, than the steering wheel if the red car should've been on the left hand side!

And wtf is it with Muss Rabbit saying that the balloon cost $10. Dollars?! angry

mumofweeboys Thu 12-Dec-13 21:35:30

My ds2 loves peppa, just over 2. I'm currently tracking down stuff that isn't bright pink (to appease grumbling husband) for ds for Christmas.

DrinkFeckArseGirls Thu 12-Dec-13 21:47:53

Phil Holler back here and explain yourself!

theynevershutup Thu 12-Dec-13 21:53:36

Miss Rabbit and Nanny Plum are the same actors voice and the wise old elf and Grandpa Pig. I love it, my dd loves it, it beats flipping sponge bob my DS watches which is rubbish!

The Dino Roar episode is one of my favourites. The batteries run out within five minutes, Daddy Pig opens the back and about twenty batteries tumble out. "how many batteries does it take?".
Those little touches are fab and make it funny for the grown ups forced to watch it too. grin

Everything is £5 "How much?"

sutekidane Thu 12-Dec-13 22:27:28

I loved that battery bit! My mum was here at the time and I even said (like a saddo) DID YOU SEE THAT HAHAHA and skipped it back to show her blush

MortifiedAnyFuckerAdams Thu 12-Dec-13 22:28:30

I love it too. SIL tried to and DD to.In The Night Garden which I.immediatley bamned from my TV. However PP is allowed as it is funny and clever

I love that Daddy strong welsh "Ooh noo..we are having a beeeebeeee"

I love the random.songs "I woke up this morning, the sea was still there, and so was the sky"

I fucking hate Dr Hamster.

MortifiedAnyFuckerAdams Thu 12-Dec-13 22:29:45

The guy who wrote and produced Outnumbered is Daddy Elephant, Alexander from Pointless is, I think, Daddy Fox, and obvs. Brian Blessed!

MortifiedAnyFuckerAdams Thu 12-Dec-13 22:30:39

Oh and if anyone wants non pink Peppa pjs - Tescos have them in a pale gree colour £5. Ive recently bought a set for DD for christmas.

BlackholesAndRevelations Thu 12-Dec-13 22:37:18

I agree re: dr hamster (is she the vet? "tiddles the toooortoyse"?)

FunnysInLaJardin Thu 12-Dec-13 22:45:15

we all love Pepper Pig and also Ben and Holly. Nanny Plum is the best ' it's not very modern, you wouldn't like it' when talking to The Marigolds has become a household saying

Longdistance Thu 12-Dec-13 22:46:00

I have perfected Madam Gazelles accent to a t. Love her character, and that she's probably a thousand years old as she taught mummy and daddy pig, and she was old then. I can also do a fab 'whaaaaaa' when George or Richard rabbit cries.

Miss Rabbit, and Mrs Rabbit crack me up when they say 'hello sister' to each other, rather than use their names.

The thing I love about Peppa is that it has adult humour inserted into it every now and then, that the kids won't get.

emblosion Thu 12-Dec-13 22:52:20

Like a bit of Peppa but Ben and Holly is my fave....

wanders off singing 'the sea the sky the sea the dky the sea the sky'

tothesea Thu 12-Dec-13 22:53:56

Edmund <pause> is a clever clogs.

Love Peppa learning to whistle...just so funny.
and whenever Daddy Pig goes "oh"..that cracks me up.
ie up in the balloon
Daddy Pig: I didn't know you could fly a balloon Miss Rabbit
Miss Rabbit: Neither did I! I've never done it before
Daddy pig: Oh....

stayanotherday Thu 12-Dec-13 22:58:21

There's a Welsh version called Peppa Pinc!

BusWanker Thu 12-Dec-13 23:04:17

I love peppa pig so much. The creators and writers are genius.
We use all the phrases.
'I am bit of expert' is my favorite, we also snort every now and then at the end of a sentence.
I so want to lie on the floor laughing.

woodlandwanderwoman Thu 12-Dec-13 23:05:17

Peppa chan suteki da yo wink

elQuintoConyo Thu 12-Dec-13 23:08:39

I can't stomach either PP or B&H, especially the latter.

DS is more a fan of Spongebob (sorry pp ^^) and Dora child of Satan Exploradora.

cerealqueen Thu 12-Dec-13 23:10:13

YANBU - I remember actually looking forward to seeing the christmas episodes the first time round with DD1!

Some of them are aimed at adults, like the digging up the road episode, first for the for the burst water pipe then the electrics, the traffic all knarled up, and the narrator saying 'everybody loves it when Mr Bull is digging up the road' Genuis.

DrinkFeckArseGirls Thu 12-Dec-13 23:10:25

Peppa Porcinia (sp?) is the Italian one smile

Devora Thu 12-Dec-13 23:16:57

This thread is making me so nostalgic for when my kids were a bit younger. I'm rather partial to a bit of Peppa Pig myself (and not in a bacon sandwich kind of way).

catyloopylou Thu 12-Dec-13 23:19:21

Both DS and I were very sad when our nick jnr peppa channel disappeared. He doesn't get to watch so much Peppa and I don't get a rest.

sutekidane Thu 12-Dec-13 23:35:47

Woodland grin

Oh and everyones posts on this thread (bar the manhole bacon sandwich ones, poor peppa!) are making me want all the episodes RIGHT THIS SECOND! I might have to look into investing in some of the DVDs for me dd to watch!

MortifiedAnyFuckerAdams Fri 13-Dec-13 00:12:00

DH and I text one another when we see Miss Rabbit in a new job.

Think she is up to about 15.

Haha @ Peppa hanging up the phone on Suzy when she could whistle

HootShoot Fri 13-Dec-13 00:28:26

We love Peppa in our house! Bong bing boo, bing bong bing, bing bong bingly bongly boo!!

I cook a dinner which has sausages, peppers and sweet potato in it - it's yum. My daughted gets confused about Peppa (puppy) and peppers, and we've now got to the point where she picks up a pepper and declares it puppy. When she picked up a sausage without really thinking I told her that was George. So now she has Puppy and George at mealtimes. My husband says that makes me a bad mummy - is he BU? blush

slowcooker Fri 13-Dec-13 00:47:48

Not unreasonable at all! We love, love, love Peppa pig as well at ours.

I hope my DD never grows out of it. The adult jokes are hilarious and keep hubby amused.
The one where the Freddy the fox tell his dad he'd been down the rabbit hole for lunch and his dad replies something like "well done son" is his favourite. LOL

I've often relied on Peppa to discourage DD to jump in muddy puddles without boots so it's all bad I suppose.

LongTailedTit Fri 13-Dec-13 01:41:10

HootShoot DH has set The Bing Bong Song as my ringtone on his phone! grin

BlackholesAndRevelations Fri 13-Dec-13 06:19:52

Watched an episode yesterday about the cuckoo clock. Love how Peppa and George jump on their parents' bed at silly o'clock in the morning and daddy shouts "what?!" as they wake him up!

Also- "daddy pig loves doing nothing," hehe!

The DVDs were £3 in asda should have bought some...

RobinSparkles Fri 13-Dec-13 06:58:30

Peppa Pig is brilliant! As is Ben and Holly.

DD1 is too old for it now but she still likes it. In fact, yesterday she said "Mummy, even though I'm 6, is it ok to still like Peppa Pig?" I said of course. I'm 30 and I like Peppa Pig grin but we agreed that we'll keep it secret and not tell her school friends! wink

DD2 is 2.10 and loves Peppa Pig. She has all the characters (mostly inherited from DD1) and she's getting the toy balloon ride for Christmas.

I'll be gutted when she's too old for it.

TinyTear Fri 13-Dec-13 09:13:05

I need to watch the ones from season 4... only watched seasons 1 to 3 so far

well my daughter does ... ahem...

PhilDavies1 Fri 13-Dec-13 15:47:32

Mark, Nev, Jemima and myself have been enjoying this article today - enjoy and discuss!

revivingshower Fri 13-Dec-13 16:31:56

Slightly mad article, reminding me of classic mumsnet line, the fifties called and they want their attitude back. Peppa seems just like any normal little girl with a normal family, well apart from them all being pigs of course. As for a carrot and a potato shacking up together well...

sutekidane Fri 13-Dec-13 20:36:22

I am so confused by that article that I can't even comment on it <brain melts>

In other news, we saw Grampy Rabbit for the first time today and enjoyed Brian Blessed's voice! I think dd may be addicted to Peppa now as she's stood in front of the TV a few times today saying "telly...peppa...where you?" grin

DrinkFeckArseGirls Fri 13-Dec-13 20:41:57

Can you buy season 4 on dvd?

BlackholesAndRevelations Fri 13-Dec-13 20:49:22

Have I missed something? Who are mark, nev and jemima? And WTVAF is that article?!

ChrisTheSheep Fri 13-Dec-13 20:55:06

I bloody love Peppa, not to mention Ben and Holly. Particular favourites in our house are the episode where Mr Bull breaks his tea pot, and his mates try to fix it ("I've got some cement boss!" "And I've got the rivet gun!") and the Ben and Holly alien invasion one (Alien, of the useless king "What a great and wise leader!" Wise Old Elf, drily, "Yes, we're very lucky...").

Emski76 Fri 13-Dec-13 21:00:20

All Im going to add is 'lets dig up the road'!!! A family fave! Also ds2 loves the made up words 'mikamaka boo ba boo'. Makes us laugh everytime.
Phildavies1 you are a genius!!

BlackholesAndRevelations Sat 14-Dec-13 07:29:27

PhilDavies1 you are a genius!

Which clearly, I am not. hmm

loisismyhero Sat 14-Dec-13 10:10:16

I'm sitting here watching tiddles the tortoise being rescued by the fire engine. - again.

I'm the only person in the room blush

(I love Dr Hamster - I love the way she says "he's luvly"!)

Longdistance Sat 14-Dec-13 11:27:12

That article has got me all confused

Blackhole I believe PhilDavies1 was referring to his family reading the article with him.

DownstairsMixUp Sat 14-Dec-13 11:36:37

DS loves it! When he does anything now he always says, "I am a bit of an expert at this!" So good!

TinyTear Sat 14-Dec-13 17:08:24

I just went to the live show today!

It was great! my 22 month old was a bit bemused but we had to buy a Mr. Potato afterwards!

HootShoot Sat 14-Dec-13 17:47:50

blackhole Phil Davies is the producer of Peppa Pig and Mark and Nev are two of the writers. Not sure who Jemima is though - sorry Jemima!

I feel a bit giddy being in the presence of Peppa royalty although I admit that article did confused me.

Kasterborous Sat 14-Dec-13 21:29:37

I like Mr Bull best. The episode when he is drinking his tea out of a china cup and has a china teapot that he breaks then takes to Miss Rabbits shop to be mended is great. 'Ah a bull in a china shop' then at the end they mend the pothole outside the shop 'we'll dig up the road'

Ah I see!! Well then mr Davies, you are a genius!!

My dd and I were quoting Peppa in the car earlier- "I woke up this morning, the sea was still there, and so was the sky...."

We love Peppa Pig, especially Miss Rabbit. The Delphine Donkey episode is fabulous. [Daddy Pig hands phone to Mummy Pig "it's all just gibberish!" Mummy Pig- "They are speaking French, Daddy Pig"] then there's the bit where Delphine's Daddy has packed "a few things you do not 'ave over 'ere, like cheese, tomatoes, waterrr ..."

Have just discovered Ben and Holly too.
