To be horrified at my pubes making an advance on my knees....

I am only 38 FFS shock

thebody Thu 09-May-13 15:19:24

Didn't realise it happened with age.

I am in late 40s and my pubes are still neat.

Now the boobs........

Mine have been doing it since my early 30's OP.

I've just had a full leg and bikini wax ready for the summer as I had begun to look like I was wearing mohair tights!

I only get hair on my shins to my knees and get a neat pubic growth.

I hope it doesn't happen with age!

TheScreamingfrog Thu 09-May-13 15:35:30

Hmmm, am now even more disturbed. Maybe I am just getting hairier for no apparent reason. I am sure this has not happened to me before.

chocoluvva Thu 09-May-13 15:44:25

Normal - ignore the smug, tidily-pubed poster!

chocoluvva Thu 09-May-13 15:45:00

Oh - meant posters - didn't mean to single any one poster out. blush

digerd Thu 09-May-13 15:46:01

I was over 60 before mine went south - but think it's really the bottom of my tummy that has dropped over it. confused.

TheScreamingfrog Thu 09-May-13 16:03:13

It's going to hurt if I get it waxed isn't it?

TheScreamingfrog Thu 09-May-13 16:05:37

And I should I worry about revealing all at the "salon". Have not been to these sorts of feminine places much. Am usually to be found having brows threaded to an audience of gawking teenagers in the shopping centre because its cheaper.

I was a bit nervous, having not shaved my legs since Valentines day, but she didn't seem ar all perturbed.

Stung a bit, but probably not as much as dh taking a strimmer to my legs would have, and yes he did offer! grin

MadBusLady Thu 09-May-13 16:13:50

I've always had pubes halfway down my thighs. I don't think it's an age thing, just hormones and those can bugger about.

This incidentally <hobby horse> is why I bloody hate those "I simply can't understand why anyone bothers with hair removal" threads. Walk a mile in my pubes, sister.

Bunbaker Thu 09-May-13 16:16:33

"It's going to hurt if I get it waxed isn't it?"

It doesn't hurt that much. I find it more of a mild discomfort.

Percephone Thu 09-May-13 16:19:40

Exactly MadBusLady. Those are the same people who would look at me in disgust if I turned up at the swimming pool with my yeti legs.

Ubermumsy Thu 09-May-13 16:26:14

I hear you madbuslady. I had pube-like hair on my inner thighs right from age 14 onwards - hated, HATED school swimming lessons.

phantomnamechanger Thu 09-May-13 16:27:15

my inner thighs can be like bloomin velcro at times, gradually creeping further, by the time I am 90 at least I'll have nice warm ankles!

Mine goes down the back of my thighs too. From my bum cheeks sad

Warm in the winter though! smile

Pancakeflipper Thu 09-May-13 16:28:46

My nipples look like they have very very long eye lashes.

What is going on with hair????

ouryve Thu 09-May-13 16:29:12

It's horrible, isn't it? Mine are now bald in the middle - I have an anti-landing-strip. They seem to have migrated to my thighs and belly.

Bobyan Thu 09-May-13 17:08:41

Anyone been lasered, I'm considering it...

TSSDNCOP Thu 09-May-13 19:33:14

It won't hurt. She can just hang you from the ceiling and swing your whole bottom half into the wax vat.

grin

<not helping>

Delayingtactic Thu 09-May-13 19:51:45

I finally bit the bullet and went a salon. The woman was incredibly professional - I admited I'd never waxed and she didn't recoil in horror at my hairiness. Saying that get one of those waxes which are some sort of hot wax specially for 'sensitive areas'. It doesn't hurt that much. I went to a place where they used the same type of wax as they used on the legs. Blimey that smarted!

fritteringtwit Thu 09-May-13 20:16:31

I've looked like Chewbacca 'down there' since I was in my early 20s. The front of my thighs are OK but the insides and back are covered in pube like dark hairs. And now I find its starting to grow upwards towards my belly button angry

And I keep finding one or two sprouting out of my bloody chin! Horrific!

StuntGirl Thu 09-May-13 20:22:42

Oh god, WHAT. This is a thing? shock

I am never getting older. Find me a DeLorean.

fritteringtwit Thu 09-May-13 20:27:25

Can I ride shotgun when you find one ?

SucksToBeMe Thu 09-May-13 20:38:17

I found a (swear to god) 2 inch pube on my shoulder on Tuesday! Sticking straight up!

grin

Steffanoid Thu 09-May-13 20:38:33

can't I just ignore any and all traces of hair down there's I have a couple that go near my belly button and I pluck those, but anything further south is ignored, apart from all over my legs to my knees and tge back of my thighs when I can reach

oh god im due to give birth within the next 5 weeks what are they going to think, I can't see down there let alone 'maintain' it!!!!

fritteringtwit Thu 09-May-13 20:45:44

when the time comes, I think your hairiness will be the least of your worries wink

Bunnygotwhacked Thu 09-May-13 20:46:40

I don't wax and am very lax about hair removal dp doesnt mind and i can't be arsed tbh but when i see those people who are very anti hair removal I think oh sure wait till you get a long spindly fecker and his friends sprouting from your chin it will be away with the placards and out with the tweezers I bet.

Nombrechanger Thu 09-May-13 20:48:26

Does anyone shave the hair on their toes? I'm growing them so that I can epilate! shock

I shave my toe hair. I tried plucking them once..I don't reccommend it, not only did it really fucking hurt but I got one of those wierd connecting pains under my arm of all places!

Yy to chin hairs. I check daily but they must have wierd overnight growing powers because I often find big black ones 1/4 inch long that I swear weren't there the day before!

SirRaymondClench Thu 09-May-13 21:45:38

Am 40 and now have hairs growing on chin, sidies, tash, nipples and my legs have always been ridiculously hairy. Even if I shave them they are stubbly by night.
Fucking ridiculous!

I am 45.

I noticed today that apart from the tache, which we are NOT talking about, I have chin hairs. But only on the left hand side of my chin. WTF is that all about and why did I only notice them when I was sitting in the car?

Lasering - definitely lasering. Gets rid of them all for a very long time, but do check what strength and type laser is being used. I went to a place that also offered plastic surgery, so they had a 'medical grade' one. Toes, bikini line and underarms took about eight sessions to sort. Still working on the facial stuff though - that keeps coming back sad

dontblameme Thu 09-May-13 22:15:38

Bobyan I had my horrendous bikini line lasered through a sk:n clinic. (they have 30% off at the moment...) A six treatment course, hurt more each time but bearable. That was 3 years ago, a few fine hairs starting to come back through now. Had one treatment on my lower legs last year and that was unbearable. Too scared to try again, or try thighs. Possibly tache, it is expensive though.

Bobyan Thu 09-May-13 22:18:53

I'm actually worried that if I leave too long they will turn grey and I will be left looking like a sheep down below.

And you can't laser white hair!!!

bettycocker Thu 09-May-13 23:36:12

I'm another one who's always had runaway pubes.

I want to know why only one of my boobs is hairy?

AlbertoFrog Thu 09-May-13 23:42:00

Mine's grown down, round and then up all the way to the top of my bum crack. Thinking of putting a cute wee bow on it.

Oh and there's grey in there too. Sheesh!

elQuintoConyo Thu 09-May-13 23:54:11

walk a mile in my pubes, sister I'm crying over that, I may have to namechange to that. Brilliant grin

My pubes have started holding hands with my shin hairs. I saw on ElQuintoConyo'sPubes FB page that they're 'in a relationship', looks serious.

ladyjadie Thu 09-May-13 23:58:37

Ah haha quint!
The lady who is doing my IPL told me they do full 'Hollywood' shock

Oow.

Startail Fri 10-May-13 00:02:03

Mine appeared before I left primary school and have been heading down my legs since my teens, they head up my stomach and all over my arse too.

Whatalotofpiffle Fri 10-May-13 00:10:35

I have the crappy combination of both long and straight pubes!!!! Very very odd

BookieMonster Fri 10-May-13 00:22:59

Every time I shower I'm half expecting David Attenborough to turn up and start a narration on the migration of pubes to sunnier southern climes.

SomeBear Fri 10-May-13 00:24:43

I'm not usually bothered about hair removal but on the odd times I am forced to go swimming I have a go at some sort of bush control. I was horrified at just how far out it has all spread. Upwards, outwards... takes me ages with the ladyshave these days.

Chavvytastic Fri 10-May-13 00:33:46

Its horrific. I suffer hideously with pubes that go down my legs. My inner thighs and backs of legs are horrendous. To add insult to injury they have now started to turn white. The white pubes are even more wiry than normal pubes. I have been having Brazillian waxes for a few years now (and my upper legs) but think I may have to opt to go completely bald soon due to the white pube problem. They just scream - yeah you are old!!!

Also think I may have reached the end of bleaching the tache and have reached the day of hair removal there as well. Have 2 hairs that I pluck out of my chin and a few on my nipples FGS!!!!!

I am 41 and thinking I may emigrate to some mountain range in 10 years time and become a Yeti because I doubt I will be able to keep up with the hair removal costs if I continue to grow hair at this rate. Perhaps I could harvest pubes for Merkin makers????

There was a thread on here a while back and some more mature ladies were saying they had reached the point where it had all fallen out. I am hoping that happens to me soon.

LittleMissLucy Fri 10-May-13 01:11:01

Like Madbuslady mine have always been a bit south of the bikini line, since I got them blush. A few waxings has thinned them out and now I just shave what's left, off with a razor if I'm going swimming. No bother.

AThingInYourLife Fri 10-May-13 01:21:37

Walk a mile in my pubes, sister.

Another one weeping with laughter at this. grin

I love this thread. smile

Lasering is something I've always dreamed of.

But never taken any steps towards organising.

theodorakisses Fri 10-May-13 04:29:48

Had total laser took about 6 months of monthly. I bought lignocaine 10% spray from the pharmacy, the Elma cream didn't touch it. That was 2years ago and no regrowth worth every penny

LittleMissLucy Fri 10-May-13 04:40:44

Do you have any scaring and did it hurt?

drfayray Fri 10-May-13 05:39:52

Not an attempt at stealth boasting but outright boasting.

One of the times I am glad I am Indian. Hardly any hair on my body (hardly have to shave my legs and arms smooth as) and my pubes are neat without work.

grin grin grin

A bit cold in winter I grant you...but I live in Brisbane where winters are about 20 degrees with lots of sunshine.

lougle Fri 10-May-13 06:39:35

The person who invents pain free, long lasting, quick and inexpensive hair removal is going to win an OBE for services to women, I reckon grin

GoodtoBetter Fri 10-May-13 06:46:40

Can we nominate MadBusLady's comment Walk a mile in my pubes, sister for quote of the week, pleeeeease? grin

EuroShaggleton Fri 10-May-13 07:02:51

Another one here with a pube-splosion from a young age. I had my thighs and bikini lasered 6 or so years ago. It's brilliant. I have just the odd hair here and there as regrowth. No scarring. No need to shave or wax ever. Well worth the investment.

theodorakisses Fri 10-May-13 08:23:35

More painful than anything but only for a brief few seconds. The inside bits are the worst. No scarring but I did keep getting thrush during the treatment.

theodorakisses Fri 10-May-13 08:24:11

I had everything done though, if it were just bikini it wouldn't hurt so much

MadBusLady Fri 10-May-13 09:32:29

GoodtoBetter I challenge you and everyone to use it in a conversation this weekend grin

NotTreadingGrapes Fri 10-May-13 09:36:30

Oh I have found my spiritual home!

Hairy big toes, one side only of face virtually furry. But only the left side. Which of course is the side dp keeps looking at and grimacing. Hairy line from top of normal pubes to belly button, yes, creeping inexorably towards knees in other direction.

Laquila Fri 10-May-13 09:39:55

Hmmm yes, I've always been fairly...abundant down there but lately mine seem to have been making a slow advance down my inner thighs. As if my stretch marks weren't having enough of a party in that particular area as it is.

FWIW I've only ever had one bikini wax, and I very nearly cried. It's Veet all the way for me!

freddiefrog Fri 10-May-13 09:46:20

I'm rocking an anti-landing strip look too. Totally bald in the middle but getting increasingly hairier as it spreads out. Fortunately it's not migrated down my legs yet

I do keep finding thick black hairs poking out all over the show though, one out of my thumb yesterday. I thought it was a loose eyelash or something but it was actually attached

I'm spending more and more time in my friend's beauty salon at the moment, I refuse to grow old gracefully

DH has acquired old man eye brows, although it hasn't migrated to ears and nostrils yet, I like to surprise attack with the tweezers when he's asleep grin

CharlieUniformNovemberTango Fri 10-May-13 09:57:31

Yay!!! I'm not some hairy freaksmile

I assumed it was global warming or something. It's been a long cold winter....

HeffalumpTheFlump Fri 10-May-13 10:04:38

I'm 22, so this is not related to age, I have PCOS, hair removal's natural enemy. Since puberty I have had hairy toes (DO NOT PLUCK unless you wanted to spend the day in tears), migrating pubes (down the legs, bumcrack and bumcheeks), leg hair that has defied the power of veet, no matter how many times they 'improve' the formula, a snail trail that rivals DH's, fluffy hair under my chin that can be seen in sunlight, and rogue nipple hairs that are oh so satisfying to pluck.

Why do women have to care about this stuff?? Whoever started the hair removal trend should be given all my body hair and see how they feel!! I can easily go through two disposable razors trying to tame the leg hair if it's been a while!

HeffalumpTheFlump Fri 10-May-13 10:12:53

Oh and it's all got worse since being pregnant... Yay!

I AM NOT A FREAK! Up yours DD, toe hair is normal, it does not make me a hobbit.

NIpple hair -check
anti landing strip fanjo -check
Pubetastic thighs - Check
Strokeable soft back of legs - check
Hairy toes- check
Chin hair- check
Tummy stripe-check

Anyone have a single grey hair growing out of their forehead?

meddie Fri 10-May-13 10:16:57

Mine seem to be in a race not only to my ankles but have recently started to developed a satellite colony on my chin. not only that but the damn things are white and coarse. You can feel them, but cant see them (since the eyes started to go) unless you are in certain light. Then it looks like I have an Albino porcupine lodged under my chin

NotTreadingGrapes Fri 10-May-13 10:22:20

Oh gosh yes, furry neck.

At least there, mine are also white, so invisible unless anyone strokes me. Which I try to avoid.

NotTreadingGrapes Fri 10-May-13 10:22:55

(I do find myself gently playing with the neck ones while watching telly, t'is very soothing. I'll be French plaiting them soon)

dufflefluffle Fri 10-May-13 10:27:29

I thought it had to do with having a baby - I had my second at age 37 and started developing a MOUSTACHE shockshockshock and hairy knuckles and mohair tights like a previous poster put it so poetically. I'm in denial about the whole thing - even though I'm blonde the moustache is quite luxurious by now blush

CRAPTA Fri 10-May-13 10:28:51

This thread is why I love mn.

Extra hairy woman here who's been hairy since my early 20's.

I had lots of electrolysis in my late 20's that sorted the hair out for a while.

It's common for hair on one side of the body to be stronger, thicker and need higher levels on the machine and more repeat sessions.

The hairs now getting a bit thicker and hairiness returning on the chin, thighs, mustache, bottom, toes, knuckles.

Depilitary creams are just not strong enough to work. I leave them on until my skin gets sore but they just aren't strong enough. I'm doing laser now.

My daughter already has a hairy back and legs. She's in lower primary school.

HeffalumpTheFlump Fri 10-May-13 10:40:45

I was just looking at my belly and have also noticed an inch long black hair in my belly button... Thought it was a cat hair... It's not. hmm

scarletforya Fri 10-May-13 10:57:46

Walk a mile in my pubes, sister Brilliant MadBusLady would make a good username!

I think the reasons hairs pop up one one side is that's the side where the ovary is failing. You ovulate on alternate sides each month so if one ovary is slowly closing down, that's the side you get the hair on. <my totally unproven theory based on a study of one>

TheScreamingfrog Fri 10-May-13 13:11:29

Wow. Is it wrong of me to feel relieved I am not the only one with a minge that would not be out of place in ZZ Top.
May be we should exhibit with pride? Head for the Lido en masse for a pube party?
grin

Hopasholic Fri 10-May-13 14:23:11

I was handed a flyer in the street from a young man for laser hair removal

He obviously thought 'ooh middle aged bearded lady, she'll have pubes coming out of her left right and centre'

Thanks you made my day! NOT!

ponders walking down road to sk!n clinic to check out price of handlebar tache removal

FariesDoExist Fri 10-May-13 18:53:52

I am cursed with:

- luxurious bush, rapidly progressing down inner thighs towards knees
- hairy nips
- whiskers

Also, I have one thin wispy hair which grows to about 2 inches long on my cheek. The bugger seems to grow literally overnight and I usually first notice it when I'm in the toilets in work. On one occasion I noticed it when it brushed against my lip while I was chatting to a friend. It kind of tickled me, and I just knew straight away it had grown again the bugger.

Nombrechanger Fri 10-May-13 19:38:11

Ok, I have a long, blonde hair growing out of my forehead!!

I also have sideburns, tache, nipples, arms, back, arse, crack, vajayjay, pubic thighs, pubic backs of knees(wtf?!?) and toes.

Fuck sake.

Ubermumsy Fri 10-May-13 20:53:36

binky, heffalump, nombre, oh god, me too.

Joking apart, it used to make me cry as a teenager. I was convinced no man would want someone as hairy as me.

If DH ever pops off for any reason, I genuinely feel I wouldn't bother dating again, given the seeming preference these days for the prepubescent "smooth" look. Unless I go on one of those fetish websites...

Ubermumsy Fri 10-May-13 20:55:29

PS I don't think I can have laser/IPL treatment as I also have monster thread veins on my legs sad . Leggings are a godsend (or they would be if I wasn't an atheist, but you know what I mean).

So why, with all this hairy growth, do our eyebrows disappear?

Why? Why?

Nombrechanger Fri 10-May-13 21:05:25

Über-I used to think that no-one would want me either. I would never wear short sleeved tops because I convinced myself that my arms were the hairiest on earth.

Jolen is my best friend.

quizzywizz Fri 10-May-13 21:05:53

I have PCOS also blessed with a Casper-like skin tone and dark brown hair.

I look like something that causes Bigfoot myths.

It is to the point where I can't even look at my hairy self in the mirror so I am going to live and die alone. sad

IfNotNowThenWhen Fri 10-May-13 21:05:54

I am not even very hairy.. BUT..I have found 3 PUBES growing out of the back of my knee!
AND, I noticed in the bathroom mirror the other day that I have a kind of handlebar 'tache! It's blonde hair, so only noticed in the light.
Why has nobody told me I have a moustache??!
I may get some wax and fashion it into a dashing shape.

Ubermumsy Fri 10-May-13 21:18:06

Isn't it the worst, when you suddenly catch sight of your fizog in bright sunlight and you realise you are thoroughly bewhiskered? I've started carrying tweezers with me to tackle embarrassing quills.

Ubermumsy Fri 10-May-13 21:20:01

I don't even have PCOS either (at least I don't think so). Just genetics - DM was hairy too in her youth. She told me it all starts going grey and falling out once you get beyond 70. Something to look forward too, huh confused

quizzywizz Fri 10-May-13 21:25:52

ubermumsy So I will finally be able to date at 70 plus?!

Depressing stuff to be hair from chin to toes.

WipsGlitter Fri 10-May-13 21:30:12

walk a mile in my pubes, sister BRILLIANT

Hairy thighs - back and front, massive 70s style bush, toes, chin. I keep tweezers in the car now for the chin.

FarBetterNow Fri 10-May-13 21:38:17

Enjoy your hirsuteness, they do disappear when you are post menopausal.
Except the bloody chin & tash hairs!

And pubes go grey!!

idiot55 Fri 10-May-13 21:56:09

yip pubes are the first to go grey ( erm not that I know or anything, honest)

Right hairy nipples, anyone else?

LittleMissLucy Fri 10-May-13 22:04:24

Not here. My head is almost completely grey, my pubes a nice shade of chestnut brown.

dementedma Fri 10-May-13 22:08:55

Grey pubes are awful. Well, white really. And sparse. My lush bush is long gone.
Yes to moustache, wiry chin hairs.
No hairy toes or nipples though

idiot55 Fri 10-May-13 22:12:13

ah Little thats my theory gone, wonder if its purely down to genetics what goes grey first or, hair colour? who knows!

LittleMissLucy Fri 10-May-13 22:15:10

I think its genetics. Its also an Irish / Celtic thing.

EuroShaggleton Fri 10-May-13 22:18:28

quizz that colouring makes you the perfect candidate for laser (the greater the contrast between skin and hair colour, the better).

My hairiness used to really affect my self-esteem. I'm so happy that it is under control now and could kiss whoever invented laser hair removal.

EglantinePrice Fri 10-May-13 22:21:56

Laser has changed my life. Not IPL (didn't work) Hurts less than waxing. No scarring. DO IT.

But despite my luscious, thick, quick growing body hair I have shite, fine, head hair. How thoroughly unjust.

EglantinePrice Fri 10-May-13 22:23:08

Just realised how that description makes me sound... like some hideous balding, yeti freak. Which was how I felt before laser.

quizzywizz Fri 10-May-13 22:23:14

I was told that laser wouldn't work because of the PCOS - something about fluctuating hormones.

Hairy arms too - always feel like people are looking at them.

Bobyan Fri 10-May-13 22:25:39

Ooo Euro I too am a glow in the dark pallour with nearly black hair. Maybe I should just go for it...

Bobyan Fri 10-May-13 22:29:07

I also have a home IPL machine, which does seem to slow the regrowth after treatment...

snooter Fri 10-May-13 22:32:45

I thought pubes disappeared with age, certainly becoming moth-eaten after the menopause.

I've recently found the odd grey one - aaargh - I'm only 48 & not yet menopausal. I thought the odd grey eyebrow bad enough.

No sign of kneeward migration, but I do keep them in trim - don't want to look as if I've a cat sitting on my lap.

EglantinePrice Fri 10-May-13 22:32:46

quizzy you may get new hairs(or you may not if your PCOS is under control) but the laser could still blast the existing ones.

Gottleogear Fri 10-May-13 22:58:02

I very rarely post but just had reply to this!

Thank God I'm not alone

I have suffered from the bikini line down to knees, backs of leg, toes etc for a long time and thought I was a freak. Spent a fortune over the years getting waxed, in fact I was once asked did I mind if a trainee came in to observe shock
I am in fact the "missing link"

But I have been perimenopausal for 4 years and there are some advantages...body hair is just starting to thin out, so by the time I'm post meno... oh in ..ANOTHER FEW FUCKING YEARS...but that's another thread entirely.
I should be happily hairless smile

LittleMissLucy Sat 11-May-13 04:57:18

Oh goddleogear you've given me something to look forward to grin

TheScreamingfrog Sat 11-May-13 12:15:19

I remember the first time I got my eyebrows threaded, the girl asked if I wanted my top lip done. I was so horrified at the thought of this obviously visible tache I said yes. It was only later I realised that I had fallen straight into their big fat hairy trap.... blush

theodorakisses Sun 12-May-13 17:54:37

I have raging PCOS, laser worked for me 100%

giveitago Sun 12-May-13 18:39:14

Oh - best thread. I'm not alone.

Always hairy - partly genes (asian mum - most asian and middle eastern ladies I know are hairy).

So lovely thick black hair on a lighter skin. Add raging pcos to that. I have to remember to bleach my upper lip - but only for 5 mins or the hair is lighter than my skin. I did it the other week. Put on bleach - was on phone - 10 mins later I have a platinum white blond tash.

Legs a nightmare. No way I could shave. My eplitator dies after one summer because of the stress put on it. No facial hair other than the tash. I don't do forearms because never have and but I have to do hands and toes. Hate it. I love winter and I live in jeans.

I'd heard of a product called a no-no - tried to order it but never arrived. I have many middle eastern origin friends and they spend a fortune on hair removal but I don't have that cash. They've all bought this home laser kit. I'm a bit meh about it.

Spring and summer is difficult. I have to guess when the weather will be good for at least three consecutive weeks. Then I wax and try to catch the hairs as they grow back (the next day) all the way through summer and that's a pain. We're talking 20 mins per day on epilator just trying to catch any regrowth.

My head hair is now about 10% grey (showable because I have v. dark hair) but nothing anywhere else. No other facial hair but one tash hair will never take the bleach.

I'm hoping that menopause will sort things out in that department.

Ubermumsy Sun 12-May-13 22:40:32

giveit, I feel your pain on hair regrowth. My legs last maybe 5 days after waxing/epilating. 2 after Veeting or shaving. I have incredibly pale skin which shows the dark stubble (and aforementioned thread veins) off a treat hmm . Not to mention the cellulite! It's annoying because the actual shape of my legs is pretty good - slim (no matter how tubby I get - classic apple shape), slender ankles etc. It's what you might call the surface finish that's shite on a stick. Leggings and opaques, that's my solution.

quizz I had PCOS too and only on my chin do I get some regrowth, and then not loads. I just have a top up treatment about once a year. God knows how much there would be if I hadn't had it lasered. The other areas have got hardly any regrowth.

I love this thread, was directed to it from one I started about hairy nips.

I also have pubes that extend half way to my knees. I tried to explain this to a blonde friend who was going on about how oppressive bikini waxing is. She went from feminist to disgusted pretty quick. walk a mile in my pubes indeed!

I love this thread too! I have Italian background so, although I'm blonde, I'm hairy!

Recently gave birth, but got a bit carried away with the veet the week before (whilst trying to tame the beast downstairs before others had to behold it) so ended up almost completely bald, but with a weird tufty fringe over my fanjo. Not a good look!

Years ago, when DH and I first got together, he pointed out that I had a tache. I'd never really noticed it before and was mortified. I removed it the next day, only for him to say, when he saw me, "Sorry, I didn't recognise you without your moustache."

Cheeky bastard!
