What happened to it?

I came back to catch up and poof, it's gone.

Do tell?

Jinsei Tue 23-Apr-13 22:41:24

It was deleted by MNHQ. They said that it had been started with the intention to cause offence (or something along those lines).

FacebookWanker Tue 23-Apr-13 22:41:29

I was wondering about that too...

FacebookWanker Tue 23-Apr-13 22:41:59

I see

ZZZenagain Tue 23-Apr-13 22:42:36

nothing, just a message that it was decided the thread had been posted in order to cause offence or something similar to that , and then it was deleted. No big drama

DamnBamboo Tue 23-Apr-13 22:43:16

I thought it was highly amusing (at least it was when I left it).
The OP was a few french fries short to speak..

Still it takes, all sorts

TalkativeJim Tue 23-Apr-13 22:44:03

'Breaking talk guidelines'

It had lots of Capital Letters in odd Places, which always irritate, striking a particularly annoying note of Earnest yet Illiterate.

Maybe that was it grin

AprilAndFrank Tue 23-Apr-13 22:46:25

Really? I read it and don't see how it could be offensive ..

ZZZenagain Tue 23-Apr-13 22:47:42

she? was having a go at single mothers and getting quite virulent about it at times from what I saw

Jinsei Tue 23-Apr-13 22:49:46

Did you read all of it April?

Mouseyinmyhousey Tue 23-Apr-13 22:53:01

It's still there

ZZZenagain Tue 23-Apr-13 22:54:23

weird, it has been deleted from my list of threads I am on

DamnBamboo Tue 23-Apr-13 22:55:12

Where, I can't find it

Mouseyinmyhousey Tue 23-Apr-13 22:55:41

It's still on here on my phone but I can't add to it or see all the posts

ZZZenagain Tue 23-Apr-13 22:58:14

I don't have it. No loss, didn't strike me as genuine tbh

squoosh Tue 23-Apr-13 22:59:21

The word hubby is just vile.

DamnBamboo Tue 23-Apr-13 22:59:23

You're right. No loss at all, just wanted to see how much more ridiculous the OP could get but clearly, things have moved on.

squoosh Tue 23-Apr-13 22:59:40

Worse than 'slug'.

AprilAndFrank Tue 23-Apr-13 23:00:10

Did you read all of it April?

Haha ... no. Possibly why I'm thinking it couldn't have been offensive.

I just mean I read the OP and it didn't sound like it was created to cause offensive.

FacebookWanker Tue 23-Apr-13 23:00:34

When I clicked on the link from the Most Active list there was a note to say that it had been deleted

Jinsei Tue 23-Apr-13 23:12:01

I just mean I read the OP and it didn't sound like it was created to cause offensive.

Yeah, the first post didn't look that way, but it later became clear that the OP had a bit if an agenda. And that she wasn't asking for opinions at all, despite what it said in the first post.

I'm glad it got deleted

LadyBeagleEyes Tue 23-Apr-13 23:13:51

That was one fucking weirdo.

Softlysoftly Tue 23-Apr-13 23:16:45

I thought the first post was meant to cause offence and outrage and then everyone agreed, could imagine op say there like sad

Didn't read any further though as it was dull.

Ruralninja Tue 23-Apr-13 23:17:19

a religious axe was being ground I think

It was because of the @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@S.

LadyBeagleEyes Tue 23-Apr-13 23:19:26

God yes the @@@@@@@@@@
And the repeated use of hubby.

EleanorFarjeon Tue 23-Apr-13 23:21:26

I agree it was because of the @@@@@@@@@s.

And, if I was in charge, the full stops like this . And commas thus ,

And the use of 'hubby', natch.

Ruralninja Tue 23-Apr-13 23:21:36

like it was bastard Twitter!

gonedeafinoneear Tue 23-Apr-13 23:22:55

I think it was a wind up. The use of 'hubby' is definitely offensive, all it needed were some hashtags.. smile

Yes it was a wind up. A lot of those have 3 or 4 numbers at the end of their names. I've noticed.

thebitchdoctor Tue 23-Apr-13 23:24:34

The OP was talking out of her @@@@rse.

BegoniaBampot Tue 23-Apr-13 23:27:49

awe, I missed it all. just got as far as the OP saying she would could cope with the death of her child better than the death of her husband when i started getting twitchy.

Must be a night for trolls. Oh yes - full moon. Gits.

Yonionekanobe Wed 24-Apr-13 07:53:37

Talk guidelines should be changed so any post which includes the word 'hubby' is automatically deleted.

and Ladies, always a red flag to me.

Tbh I find anything that goes - 'this is my traumatic experience....now has anybody felt the same and can tell me about it' to be automatically worthy of a second look.
