(45 Posts)

I mean.. yes, the original thread was funny.

But really? overkill!

ItsYoniBusiness Fri 12-Apr-13 00:34:56

Aww it's yoni a bit of fun!

HarrietSchulenberg Fri 12-Apr-13 00:37:18

I'm a bit behind with it all. I used to work with someone called Yoni so I keep thinking it's about him.
I haven't found it all hilariously amusing. Think I'm missing something.

TheYoniVicarInaTutu Fri 12-Apr-13 00:40:33

if you are bored with it then why begin yet another thread on it? it will die out very quickly.

....even HQ are playing! give it a day or so and it will be yoni a memory.....

YoniWankEnobi Fri 12-Apr-13 00:43:41

Tbh, it's getting boring but I like all the name changing! Ad the poetry!

trashcanyoni Fri 12-Apr-13 00:44:06

YABU (blows an even bigger raspberry and buggers off back to the other thread to laugh about yoni's some more)

LadyBeagleEyes Fri 12-Apr-13 00:44:54

If it's that boring why start a thread about it?

YoniHaveToAsk Fri 12-Apr-13 00:46:35

We are yoni avin a larf! Lighten up op! grin

You are the one and yoni. Yoni you can change that.

TheChaoGoesMu Fri 12-Apr-13 00:59:21

YoniBeingUnreasonable Fri 12-Apr-13 01:16:05

YoniBeingUnreasonable Fri 12-Apr-13 01:16:42

SP grin

I love a yoni thread...
nearly changed my name back when I logged in, I shant now, now I realise people are still talking about it grin

oh and YABU grin

its inane, idiotic, unfunny bollocks.

HullDud Fri 12-Apr-13 01:32:07

I very nearly started a thread asking how long it would be until someone posted an AIBU asking if they were U to be bored with it all. It happens every time. grin

MichaelPortaloo Fri 12-Apr-13 01:33:21

The original thread wasn't even funny.

YANBU

really HullDad?

did you mean to post on this or was that a NC fail? lol.

HullDud Fri 12-Apr-13 01:54:18

Why would it be a NC fail? I see 8 other related names posting on this thread too. confused

Wow. You really don't like it do ya? You weren't kidding! grin

DonCorleYoni Fri 12-Apr-13 01:54:48

It's better than all the snarky, pissy, nit picking, offended, chippy shit.

I'm bored with the misuse of "over" and "already".

Jessepinkman Fri 12-Apr-13 01:59:15

DonCorleYoni has the best nc.

OP were you here for penguins or kittens or pombears? This is about the same. It happens.

HullDud Fri 12-Apr-13 02:01:41

Caustic as poky snot. thats an anagram of KansasCityOctopus y'know.

grin

DonCorleYoni Fri 12-Apr-13 02:04:36

It's fab, WorraLiberty threw it out and I grabbed it.
Think I might keep it.

Lueji Fri 12-Apr-13 04:30:18

When you are tired of yoni, you are tired of life. grin

YABY wink

Lueji Fri 12-Apr-13 04:32:12

its inane, idiotic, unfunny bollocks.

Strictly, it's not bollocks, though, is it?

still boring!

who's misusing anything?

Both uses of the word are perfectly acceptable thanks!

Theicingontop Fri 12-Apr-13 10:08:52

Ahh leave them alone.

Yoni live once, after all

ChestysLonelyYoni Fri 12-Apr-13 10:09:35

<giggles>

MyDarlingYoni Fri 12-Apr-13 10:09:53

So many Kills joys!

mrsjay Fri 12-Apr-13 10:10:46

it is yoni you who doesn't find it funny grin i have just seen a NC of dogwithayoni and laughed

it isnt just me actually

and you're not funny.

Trills Fri 12-Apr-13 10:16:47

Stop starting threads about it then.

Don't be a part of the problem.

IAmJacksRagingBileDuct Fri 12-Apr-13 10:19:00

Lueji grin

Ah OP its yoni a bit of fun, some people found it funny and their having a giggle. Its not hurting you and it'll fizzle out in a day or two.

squoosh Fri 12-Apr-13 11:02:59

If you find it so tiresome well then don't read the related threads (there seem to be one or two other topics being discussed on the forum) and perhaps don't start a thread about the very subject you wish would disappear?

Just an idea.

hedgefund Fri 12-Apr-13 11:12:41

so i am guessing it was a troll who was it? i missed the entirety of it but read the op on the other thread. it does seem like overkill to me too if i am honest. <shrugs> sorry

mrsjay Fri 12-Apr-13 11:13:08

of course it isn't that funny but if you are going to post threads complaining you are going to get puns galore arn't you it is a silly bit of fun from a very funny thread meh dont read them

hedgefund Fri 12-Apr-13 11:13:52

oh blimey op is allowed to post that she finds it tiresome without the predicted 'why are you also posting about it then' etc etc etc

mn is becoming so formularised, you can guess people's responses

squoosh Fri 12-Apr-13 11:13:58

Everything gets done to death, if I have to see the word 'quiche' again . . . . . . .

LadyBeagleEyes Fri 12-Apr-13 11:20:57

Quiche.
What'ya going to do about it squoosh? grin

squoosh Fri 12-Apr-13 11:22:46

Ummm....ummmmm.......ummmm, nothing!

<flees from the quiche>

Gerrof Fri 12-Apr-13 11:27:41

God it's dull when people copy and paste definitions from dictionaries in order to try and win arguments on Internet forums.

The whole yoni thing has passed me by, but I am personally very pleased to have something lighthearted, funny and silly after the whole 'all mumsnetters are vile bullying bitches' we have been subjected to in recent weeks.

Silly threads are one of the best things about mumsnet IMO.
