I am so -pathetically and unjustifiably-- proud.

I was the last post on the 'rude BIL disappearing upstairs' thread before it went tits up. So there is no way I can claim not to have been involved (even though by the end of it I was talking about my gulity pleasure in some of Gary Glitter's songs, so hardly bun fighting at that point) MNHQ do I get some kind of badge to sew on my uniform? Please!!

Lottashakingoinon Sun 31-Mar-13 17:40:19

The damn crossing out failed me... first time ever I do know how to use it really

TeggieCampbeggBlegg Sun 31-Mar-13 17:46:55

That's nothing.

Last week I got a thread put in 'classics' and got deleted all within 48 hours <<preen>>

I never get deleted. It is so unfair.

Arf!

You can claim posting a nonAiBU in AIBU as well now! You get 2 badges today.

grin

Bobyan Sun 31-Mar-13 17:50:02

Did the thread disappear upstairs with BIL?
What was the deletion message? (Wishes I had posted something, but couldn't think of anything goady enough)

foxache Sun 31-Mar-13 17:50:18

Me neither MrsP, someone once said something like 'only the dull are never deleted' sad To be fair, it was comforting another poster.

HildaOgden Sun 31-Mar-13 17:50:36

....and you started a thread about a thread, you scored a hatrick grin

usualsuspect Sun 31-Mar-13 17:51:08

was a boring deletion message.

<Hugs foxache> I'M BORING!

HildaOgden Sun 31-Mar-13 17:51:49

Deletion message was 'it turned into a bunfight'

gordyslovesheep Sun 31-Mar-13 17:52:14

You need to be more

'oh mrs TP you utter bitchfaced cows arse'

Mrs Terry Pratchett ...failing that just say 'are you new???'

grin

Lottashakingoinon Sun 31-Mar-13 17:53:02

Oh my god my cup runneth over.

'Twas a fairly pedestrian deletion message Bob...they just said it was turning into a bun fight. Even missed the opportunity to call it a hot cross bun fight!

Teggie that is awesome!!

foxache Sun 31-Mar-13 17:53:18

I was typing some bland reply on that thread and posted into nothing as it just disappeared. My first thought was 'oh, not funny enough for you then?'

SadOldGit Sun 31-Mar-13 17:53:32

I missed the deletion - went to put DD2 in the bath, came back and it was gone

foxache Sun 31-Mar-13 17:55:31

<hugs> MrsP, how can we be bad??

LadyBeaEGGleEyes Sun 31-Mar-13 17:55:36

That was one very weird thread.

tethersend Sun 31-Mar-13 17:55:59

Wow, what was that thread about?

I'll listen to any answers except usual's.

For the OP

Let's have a go at each other... foxache you are wee wee and umm nasty. There.

foxache Sun 31-Mar-13 17:57:51

The thread was a vehicle for a load of people to comment on how often Worra posts. Other insults abound(ed)

I was just about to ask if I could have a cocktail

Lottashakingoinon Sun 31-Mar-13 17:58:30

That was the one Tethers though by the end everyone had forgotten about the BiL

Thanks for the link. I may be very very sick!

foxache Sun 31-Mar-13 17:59:07

You must have fleas MrsP <zips invisible protective coat>

Now we have to wait until someone reports us. I'm having a mango cocktail in the meantime. Thanks for giving us a platform Lotta.

Hey lotta, it was just getting friendly, too!
Was singing 70's anthems and making piña coladas smile

littlemissbunny Sun 31-Mar-13 18:04:54

I have had a thread and a post deleted! though it was on a thread where lots of other posts were deleted

The thread I had deleted was complaining about a boring deletion message so someone suggested MNHQ should do them in Latin, and they deleted the thread with a Latin message grin

And if we are throwing insults around, you are rubbish and not my best friend (inspired by my kids!!)

How do you see a deletion message?
On iPhone and can't see it confused

foxache Sun 31-Mar-13 18:06:52

It's gone 6 shock beer.

MrsP, I think we should wear our 'steadiness' as a badge of honour.

littlemissbunny Sun 31-Mar-13 18:09:50

Katie if you posted on it, it should be in threads I'm on?

Oh we'll, new song required
" I was tired of my lay-deh, we'd been together too long, like a worn out recording of my favourite song......."
( altogether now)
" if you like Piña Colada, getting caught in the rain...."
( twirls in hostess gown, margo leadbetter stylee )
grin

It went pouf hmm

usualsuspect Sun 31-Mar-13 18:15:30

I burnt my dinner because of that thread.

Toasttoppers Sun 31-Mar-13 18:17:45

Was that the one where the op was accusing two people of always being goady?
Am I allowed to ask that?

usualsuspect Sun 31-Mar-13 18:18:33

<goads>

Yes, it was.

Goady flouncing sheep.

Who needed to brush up on their literacy grin
Campari, anyone?

LadyBeaEGGleEyes Sun 31-Mar-13 18:36:34

Three regular posters not named by the op.
And then there were sock puppets.
possibly

LadyBeaEGGleEyes Sun 31-Mar-13 18:38:44

*were named

And we may or not be in a gang of mean girls smile

foxache Sun 31-Mar-13 18:41:48

It was at the very least, used as an opportunity for the OP to have a go at certain posters, quite personal insults.

TheUnicornsGoHawaiian Sun 31-Mar-13 18:42:34

I was nosying at that thread! I was going to post to say. ..eagerly awaits mumsnet deletion message.... but blinking kids disturbed me!

Salmotrutta Sun 31-Mar-13 18:43:20

I'm very, very, very annoyed that thread got pulled.

It was weirdly fascinating.

Ah, we don't mind really.
It's not the first time and won't be the last grin
Advocaat? ( getting desperate ) wink

Tortington Sun 31-Mar-13 18:45:20

MrsTerryPratchett Sun 31-Mar-13 17:47:38

I never get deleted. It is so unfair.
--------------

ive reported this comment smile hope it gets deleted

usualsuspect Sun 31-Mar-13 18:51:53

I'm annoyed it got deleted too. I wonder who reported it?

I could hazard a guess ... grin

You goady sheep, you....wink

Bobyan Sun 31-Mar-13 18:55:01

Passes usual some Easter egg and a cocktail in place of burnt dinner.

usualsuspect Sun 31-Mar-13 18:59:31

I would love a drink. I have no alcohol in the house at all

I have plenty of teen spirits

Jaeger bombs?
Sourz?
Malibu?

grin

PickledInAPearTree Sun 31-Mar-13 19:09:24

Gutted I'd saved that thread for a butchers after I bathed DS.

tethersend Sun 31-Mar-13 19:15:53

I started the day with a mojito.

It's been downhill from then on, TBH.

usualsuspect Sun 31-Mar-13 19:25:45

I drank enough vodka on Friday night to last me all week though. So probably best I have no alcohol in.

usualsuspect Sun 31-Mar-13 19:26:36

I could be tempted by a Malibu and pineapple though.

Thanks Custardo. <Waits impatiently>

( passes drink to usual)
There is also something called Mickey Finn in a curious bottle.
I don't drink so will ask DH to investigate...

usualsuspect Sun 31-Mar-13 19:35:55

You have just given me an idea,I bet there's some teenager type booze in my DS s bedroom if I get desperate.

Salmotrutta Sun 31-Mar-13 19:41:44

I will have one glass later tonight.

Then I'm being good.

Salmotrutta Sun 31-Mar-13 19:43:52

Ooh you need to stay away from The Teenage Alcohol usual shock

It'll be all apple sours and other such devils brew.

Mark my words! It won't end well...

Then DDOS will seem like the proverbial walk in the park

I'm substituting alcohol for magnum ice lollies.
Not too shabby for Katie grin

We have teenage alcohol, vodka skittles it tastes awful
