Seriously do we need to know the queen has a bad case of S&D. And does she really want the world knowing about it.

ToeCap Sun 03-Mar-13 17:43:39

I know, not necessary to go into details, just say the queen is recovering from a virus or some shit. Well not shit grin

ToeCap Sun 03-Mar-13 17:44:24

Wonder if she has the ring of fire though. Phil might have been slathering on the sudocream for her.

roadkillbunny Sun 03-Mar-13 17:52:18

I had a good internal giggle about the wording used by the bbc yesterday where they talked about the sickness and 'irritation' but danced round any words close to admitting that yes, the queen does poo and more to the point, rather allot just at the moment! grin

ToeCap Sun 03-Mar-13 17:53:38

I expect the royal laundry is busy.

thegreylady Sun 03-Mar-13 17:55:26

She is a sick old lady and our head of state sad
Quite unnecessary to be snide about it.

Lynned Sun 03-Mar-13 17:58:32

Bet she's had to spend a lot of time on the throne grin disclaimer, just a joke, I am sorry she is ill hmm

Dawndonna Sun 03-Mar-13 17:59:36

One doesn't give a shit!

ToeCap Sun 03-Mar-13 18:04:40

greyLady - We love a bit of toilet humour in this country and I bet the royals do to, behind closed doors

andubelievedthat Sun 03-Mar-13 18:50:29

Yes , sad to realise but even members of the "firm " sometimes have to do a (royal )shit .

BettySuarez Sun 03-Mar-13 18:53:58

I follow a spoof Quern on Twitter whose latest tweet is

"@Queen_UK: Ok, who does one have to knight in this hospital to get a gin smuggled in?". grin grin

Still18atheart Sun 03-Mar-13 18:56:54

I love @Queen_UK her tweets are the best. Actually I think all the spoof royal family twitters are hilarious

PeneloPeePitstop Sun 03-Mar-13 18:59:12

They probably think pukey is more palatable than brown rain wink

ToeCap Sun 03-Mar-13 19:55:35

friends facebook led with

BREAKING NEWS.....Queen has a poo!!

I must admit I sniggered.

Enfyshedd Sun 03-Mar-13 20:50:58

I feel sorry for her. She's an old lady (same age as my DGF) who's not very well at the moment, and can't be poorly in peace.

idiot55 Sun 03-Mar-13 21:13:38

poor woman, who likes having a stomach bug, never mind knowing the whole worls knows about it.

willesden Sun 03-Mar-13 22:05:10

Oh look, another childish, attention-seeking thread.

hmc Sun 03-Mar-13 22:08:50

It's really not news and has no place in the headlines

debbie1412 Sun 03-Mar-13 22:13:34

No body asked you to read my childish attention seeking thread !

PeneloPeePitstop Sun 03-Mar-13 22:40:47

Oh look! Thread police! Run away!

hmc Sun 03-Mar-13 22:46:07

She's probably one of those flag waving, jingoistic, jam making, bunting obsessed, Tory voting Royalists

PowerPants Sun 03-Mar-13 22:47:11

Toe Cap that made me laugh out loud.

PowerPants Sun 03-Mar-13 22:48:00

I bet she has that lovely quilted loo roll.

PeneloPeePitstop Sun 03-Mar-13 23:06:36

Hope she's keeping it in the fridge

LadyBeagleEyes Sun 03-Mar-13 23:15:14

86 year old woman has d&v and has been forced to take time of work.
And has now been hospitalised for it.
That's so funny.

Pandemoniaa Sun 03-Mar-13 23:51:17

I was a bit astonished at the Radio 4 News comment that "The Queen is in good spirits despite her admission to hospital". Only "good spirits" and a nasty attack of gastroenteritis seem kind of incompatible.

I'd have thought there were better ways to express that she's not causing them concern and is feeling reasonable despite the circumstances. But "in good spirits" suggests she's sat, merrily on a commode conducting some sort of Chas N' Dave pub sing-song.

RedHotRudieParts Mon 04-Mar-13 00:00:33

Ah well, least there's no chance of her dying of thirst / starvation like far too many 86 year olds have this year.

ToeCap Mon 04-Mar-13 08:01:55

pandemonida Maybe she is sitting on the commode singing chas n dave grin

ToeCap Mon 04-Mar-13 08:02:21

or pandemoniaa even

GrowSomeCress Mon 04-Mar-13 08:08:25

Old lady gets ill, so funny.

pigletmania Mon 04-Mar-13 11:09:28

Poor thing having tat plastered all over te media. Could they not sayshe hada virus or something

ToeCap Mon 04-Mar-13 11:27:34

well, I would lay the blame with the Royal advisors to the media. Who clearly have not thought things through. What did they expect? ER has the squits, or course there will be jokes.

Sallyingforth Mon 04-Mar-13 12:16:30

Poor old Charles, Every time he phones the hospital to ask how she is, they hang up on him!
