I haven't see my FWB for quite a couple of weeks due to his job and now his DS visiting him for the holidays.

So right now, if I could, I'd be getting extremely hot and heavy with FWB.

What about you?

kinkyfuckery Sun 30-Dec-12 20:25:38

I'd be sleeping, the deep slumber of someone who wouldn't have screaming, fighting little bastards children to see to in the morning.

SantasHoHoHo Sun 30-Dec-12 20:26:55

I'd be looking forward to not going to work tomorrow due to a lottery win!

usualsuspect3 Sun 30-Dec-12 20:26:55

What's a FWB?

SnookieSnickers Sun 30-Dec-12 20:27:07

I would be on a plane, en route to somewhere warm and sunny.

gordyslovesheep Sun 30-Dec-12 20:28:18

FuckWitBastard?

Chottie Sun 30-Dec-12 20:28:39

I'd be on that plane with Snookie I'd love to be going away to somewhere warm and sunny too.

MrsMaryCooper Sun 30-Dec-12 20:29:57

I'd go skating.

polkadotsrock Sun 30-Dec-12 20:29:57

Usual - friend with benefits

mumof4sons Sun 30-Dec-12 20:30:16

FWB - Friend with benefits

FWB friend with benefits

ifancyashandy Sun 30-Dec-12 20:30:21

Same here. On a plane. To Thailand or Malaysia or Indonesia. Hot and totally different.

ViviPru Sun 30-Dec-12 20:30:29

I'd be ramming stilton and Sparkenhoe and Black Bomber and Sharphams in my mouth with gay abandon. Sadly I am on a cheese embargo till May sad

yy - WTF is a FWB?

ViviPru Sun 30-Dec-12 20:30:43

oh sorry posted late

friends with benefits, oh I remember those days!

however right now I would book a holidayfor next Christmas and then sleep for a week!

CanonFodder Sun 30-Dec-12 20:31:51

I'd be checking my winning Euromillions ticket.

BarredfromhavingStella Sun 30-Dec-12 20:32:26

Sat on a beach and/or diving in the Maldives.

SantasHoHoHo Sun 30-Dec-12 20:32:37

Friend With Benefits. Oh how I miss having one of those. Many a good time has been had grin

suburbophobe Sun 30-Dec-12 20:33:03

Friends With Benefits - i.e. a Fuck Friend. grin

in other words: someone you know who you have occasional sex with and both of you pretend it's not a relationship cos you want to stay casual i.e. see what better comes along on the horizon

Doesn't work. Always someone who gets emotionally involved.

But they can be great! grin

SantasNaughtySack Sun 30-Dec-12 20:33:04

Find an attractive woman with a similar moral code to mine and drink bourbon from each other's naked body in a hotel room.

Um, stupid autocorrect... I meant have a nice early night. Obviously.
grin

SarahWarahWoo Sun 30-Dec-12 20:33:27

Sleeping

vintagewarrior Sun 30-Dec-12 20:33:28

I'd be preparing for a big party tomorrow night, for all my friends, in my nice 3 bed house, rather than the reality - knowing i'll be stuck in my damp two bed flat as babysitter has blown out.

uptheamp Sun 30-Dec-12 20:33:42

go shopping in sales but shops are closed grin

HumphreyCobbler Sun 30-Dec-12 20:33:52

I would go back in time and lock the chickens up before we went out, thus saving them from being wiped out by a bastard fox sad

TWinklyLittleStar Sun 30-Dec-12 20:34:19

Either I would be in the Gardens Hotel in Key West, drinking champagne and swimming outdoors, or I would be in my DSis's house, just being there with her and her children.

suburbophobe Sun 30-Dec-12 20:35:03

And they're even better in far flung places grin

mumof4sons Sun 30-Dec-12 20:35:09

lol - Santas

McNewPants2013 Sun 30-Dec-12 20:35:37

To go to a spa and dive into a private pool.

SantasHoHoHo Sun 30-Dec-12 20:35:53

Oh Humphrey how sad sad

ViviPru Sun 30-Dec-12 20:36:45

Oh Humphrey - that's a shame sad - try not to give yourself too hard a time... You're nowhere near the midlands are you? My Mum has 4 lovely birds she's really struggling to find time to care for....

mumof4sons Sun 30-Dec-12 20:38:21

Poor Humphrey

SantasHoHoHo Sun 30-Dec-12 20:39:50

Oh Humphrey please take Vivipru mum's birds. This thread was meant to be so you would find one another.

Sorry, I'm rather tipsy this evening! The thought of going to work tomorrow has driven me to wine!

puds11isNAUGHTYnotNAICE Sun 30-Dec-12 20:39:58

I would be finished my degree, on holiday somewhere warm.

MsElleTow Sun 30-Dec-12 20:39:58

I'd be buying the ticket that would guarentee to win me the Euroamillions.

Failing that I would like some painkillers that actually work, so my back, pelvis, hips and legs stop hurting enough for me to have the bloody duvet on tonight. Then I won't wake up freezing every half an hour!

ViviPru Sun 30-Dec-12 20:41:00

<Envisaging SantasHo as some kind of half-cut Cilla Black> :D

SantasHoHoHo Sun 30-Dec-12 20:42:08

grin Vivi

Rindercella Sun 30-Dec-12 20:42:55

Sod being on a plane. I would be on a beach somewhere in the Caribbean. Children are there, but being well looked after by someone else. And I wouldn't have the flu.

Humphrey, poor chickens. Try not to blame yourself, bastard foxes can get in just about anywhere.

LetsFaceThePresentsTheyrePants Sun 30-Dec-12 20:44:39

I'd be introducing my late mum and dad to my 3 kids grin

Failing that, sitting on the 'beach of death' in NZ

mumof4sons Sun 30-Dec-12 20:44:50

Wishing you a speedy recovery Rinder

purrpurr Sun 30-Dec-12 20:45:28

I'd temporarily transfer my pregnancy to my husband so I could go sit in the garden, look at the stars, drink bourbon and coke and smoke hundreds of cigarettes, one after the other.

Oh, then I'd eat way more food than I currently can because of the blasted heartburn/constant stomach ache I get whenever I eat anything more substantial than a malteaser.

Oooh, then I'd put on a tight top and go clubbing without this massive belly in front of me.

SnookieSnickers Sun 30-Dec-12 20:45:43

Flying is so much fun Rindercella though. And of course I would be in first class...

HumphreyCobbler Sun 30-Dec-12 20:47:35

thanks for the sympathy everyone - and the kind offer of actual chickens! (Although I fear not practical due to distance considerations Vivi) I love mumsnet <heart emoticon>

nannyof3 Sun 30-Dec-12 20:48:13

I would be at a airport with my OH and family going somewhere warm and lovely

Guiltypleasures001 Sun 30-Dec-12 20:48:38

I would have liked to have been without a fecking kidney infection and have been well enough to put a wreath on my late dd grave, 17yrs ago today, first time ever not been able to get there before Xmas.

WillYuleDoTheFandango Sun 30-Dec-12 20:49:02

Aw I'll trade PurrPurr I had my baby 2 weeks ago today and I'm really missing being pregnant cos I'm a contrary cow I still get to keep my baby though or no dice!

Rindercella Sun 30-Dec-12 20:49:27

Snookie, first class without children is fun, you're right. grin

Mum, thank you.

BelinaTheChicken Sun 30-Dec-12 20:49:43

Little less exciting than most of these, but I'd be moving into our new house, don't get the keys till Friday and I can't wait to get out of the shoe box we currently live in

Rindercella Sun 30-Dec-12 20:50:11

Guilty, I am so sorry xx

LetsFaceThePresentsTheyrePants Sun 30-Dec-12 20:50:11

Guilty - he'll understand. ((hug))

fuzzpig Sun 30-Dec-12 20:50:25

I'd be playing the new GameCube game I bought for Xmas. But I can't as I stupidly didn't realise it's a NTSC one not a PAL one and therefore wouldn't work sad

Although if we are really fantasising here I would be... knowing I didn't have to work tomorrow. Sadly I do. Hmmph.

fuzzpig Sun 30-Dec-12 20:51:39

(((((Guilty))))) so sorry. Hope you get well ASAP.

WelshMaenad Sun 30-Dec-12 20:53:22

I'd be putting my pyjamas on and cracking out some Zpringles instead if preparing to go to work!

mumof4sons Sun 30-Dec-12 20:54:13

Belina good luck with move. I am also moving in January and won't be able to see FWB anymore as there will be some 3000 miles between us.

Guiltypleasures001 Sun 30-Dec-12 20:55:28

Cheers guys..typed and posted then realised what a downer is was. Everyones been ill this year, had this for over two weeks, thought it was IBS lol how wrong was I. We lost our cat of 18yrs ago yesterday morning, and my great aunt died on xmas day.

Think I'll crack open something alchoholic and hand it round lol ice and a slice anyone?

mumof4sons Sun 30-Dec-12 20:58:39

Oh Guilty you have had a rough time.

Here's to having a much better start to 2013.

LetsFaceThePresentsTheyrePants Sun 30-Dec-12 21:03:18

YY to ice and slice. Shall I bring nibbles?

Guiltypleasures001 Sun 30-Dec-12 21:04:32

Your very kind thankyou..but dont want to kill this thread.

I am going to have a large glass of neat advocaat (sp) and watch ripper street.

TwllBach Sun 30-Dec-12 21:07:49

I am having my annual misery fest. Right now, if I had my wish, I would be married and pregnant with a permanent job.

In an even more ideal world, I would have been married a couple of years and pregnant with my second. As it stands, I have a contract end date of February eighth, am single and have had two miscarriages and no pregnancies that have gone to term.

Bah fucking humbug <knocks back wine>

Guiltypleasures001 Sun 30-Dec-12 21:10:26

Twllbach I salute you with my glass x

I would be comfortably well off instead of scrimping and saving and healthily pregnant with DC2 instead of the hideous unending cycle of ttc with a few mcs thrown in! wine to all!

butterflyexperience Sun 30-Dec-12 21:25:09

Go to Australia for 1 year travelling
On my own

I'd be writing a resignation letter and ordering a mac book on which to write my book.

SledYuleCated Sun 30-Dec-12 22:04:16

I would also be in bed with my current interest blush

I happen to know that is what he wants right now too grin

BluelightsAndSirens Sun 30-Dec-12 22:06:26

Purr I love your one, I remember being at the end and just wanting one night off. I loved being pregnant but one day would have been lovely.

I would love to be on my own and going some where sunny tomorrow, oh and to know 100% that my job is secure in the future, we are in for a very rough year this year.

Rhubarbgarden Sun 30-Dec-12 22:12:02

I'd travel back in time, discover a cure for cancer, and heal my mum so she could have got to know that I left the bastard, met and married a good un and have two happy healthy children. And two happy and healthy cats. That would have made her happy.

mumof4sons Sun 30-Dec-12 22:13:38

Sled Great minds think alike.

I am hoping next weekend I get my wish.

CaHoHoHootz Sun 30-Dec-12 22:14:44

I would be snuggled in furs being driven in a dog sled in the Arctic watching the northern lights and the stars. I would be with my family.

Id be unwell, having took dds cold and cough off her. Poor lamb.

SledYuleCated Sun 30-Dec-12 22:31:46

I should also be good for next weekend wink just been given a fair idea of how the evening is likely to go grin

TwllBach Sun 30-Dec-12 23:09:11

<waves the bottle neck at Guilty>

I posted without reading the thread blush I'm sorry so many of you are having a shit time. You're all my heroes

I'm a bit tipsy, but I'm going to let you all in on a theory of mine I've been cultivating for a while now:

Men are disappointments. Even the good ones are vaguely disappointing. It's a sad fact of life. Women, on the other hand, are, quite frankly, amazing. Over the last five years I have met some spectacular examples of human nature, and they have all been women. All the men in my life, without fail, be they a partner, my father, my brother or just vague acquaintances, have let me down through actually letting me down, or by letting someone I love down.

So I salute you all with my bottle you wonderful, wonderful women. Long may you all reign.
