Ds has told me that every day this week 2 girls at school have pinched his sandwiches off him, stuffed them in their mouths & run off. I'm thinking tomorrows sandwiches could be cheese & raw chilli.

Oh I love a good revenge fantasy ......

Please do tell the teacher at school. My son has had this sort of thing happen at lunchtime, and it's a PITa

Have you read The Lighthouse Keeper's lunch? Mustard did the trick there...

Report
Jamieandhismagictorch · 30/06/2010 20:46

Actually, mustard is not a bad idea. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that a child might have ham and mustard.

How old are these DCs?

My daughter used to love this book, perhaps you could pick up some ideas.

this used to happen to me at school. EVENTUALLY the school noticed that the child in question was chronically neglected and never got fed at home.

tell the school

English mustard or horseradish

Report
SergeantAngua · 30/06/2010 20:48

Tempting!

Probably best not do chilli though, I'd go with lashings of English mustard.

brightwell · 30/06/2010 20:50

They are 12, definately not neglected, just nasty. Sadly I don't have any mustard, but I do have chillis.

Anchovies and English Mustard.

Obviously with a back up sandwich for your DS. Tell him as well and keep putting the dodgy sandwich in (without replacing it so it gets dodgier and dodgier) if they don't do it the first time you send it.

Can DS manage a video camera do you think?

Or how about cat food?

Jamieandhismagictorch · 30/06/2010 20:52

Well then, definitely do it. 12 is old enough to know better

Report
Jamieandhismagictorch · 30/06/2010 20:52

.... although are they nasty enough to try and get her back - don't want to escalate it

Report
brightwell · 30/06/2010 20:52

I'll run it by ds first.

He's 12 and can't defend his sandwiches?

DS1 has been pushed off his chair by a girl - she's bigger than him
