So why the hell is she still awake?

DD 'slept' from 830 last night to 530 this morning, waking at least 3 times in between, and I've now given up trying to get her back to sleep so have showered & dressed whilst she potters merrily around the bedroom.

DH & DS (3) are still asleep in the spare room - why am I the only one in this house that never gets any sleep?! (DD doesn't count in that statement as she could have as much sleep as she likes if she'd just let herself ). She's not much of a napper either so it's not even as if she's making up the sleep hours elsewhere

condolences. does she sleep in the day? Also, - sorry if pointing out the obvious but its light very early now. is her room dark enough?

Also, get your DH up at the weekend and demand a lie in WITH a cup of tea

Hi Trixie. She's still in my room - room is pitch black until I open the blinds. Very little napping in the day, and when she does nap in the day the slightest noise/movement will wake her. Took her for a drive earlier this morning and she slept for 1.5 hrs - had to keep the engine running/car moving though

I'm sure she'll improve soon enough - DS was much the same at this age - just felt like having a bit of a whinge this morning!
