I don't agree with any of the parties 100% ...so now what?

I agree with the Conservative policies, but haven't done too badly under Labour. Anyone else confused?

OOH! Try www.voteforpolicies.org.uk - it's brilliant for helping you make up your mind. And really insightful! I think everyone should be made to something like it before voting.

It's basically a survey/quiz where you're presented with the policies of all the major parties in particular subject areas (you pick what you're interested it, eg education or welfare), but with no names attached; you pick the ones you like, and at the end, it tell you whose policies you went for most, in other words, who tyou should vote for. I fund it really useful, becuase I was thinking of voting LibDem but then it turned out that I liked their policies even less that Labour's and Tories'!!!

thanks mudandroses - I have just been on that site and it was excellent. It has really helped me see the wood for the trees!

Completely. I know which candidate I'd like to vote for based on what he has and would do for this area. But his party overall leaves a lot to be desired.

Another one I don't mind the party but I absolutely will not vote in the candidate, no way.

The other one doesn't even get off the starting blocks. That leaves me with UKIP and a random. What to do?

I'm in exactly the same position as Rockbird. Our MP is fantastic but I don't want his party to win!

The others in our area don't appeal to me at all - completely stumped!

Great, tried that website, got 50% Labour and 50% UKIP V helpful...

I got 40% green, 22% Labour, 22%Tory, and (er, tries to do maths in her head) the extra little bit Lib Dem,
if we're spilling the beans!

Well, the policies don't lie, unlike the politicians, so...

Me too OMDB! Maybe it's a good thing I did it - did not pick one set of policies for the people I had thought I might vote for...
