Not at all! I think he is gorgeous, sexy, handsome and utterly un pc!! I dont know what it is about him though i cant put my finger on it! A friend said to me that if he was working in B and Q pushing a trolley down the aisle you wouldnt give him a second glance!!

YANBU, lots of Gene Hunt fans on MN you may have to fight for him.

It is his character isn't it, I find him very attractive even though I really know I shouldn't.

YANBU - all the women I know including my 16yo niece and 96yo Grandmother find him attractive. Tis perfectly normal.

But if any of you were to go out with him, a few months later you would be posting on MN...

"AMBU to expect him to stop drinking?", - and MNers would be calling his behaviour 'selfish'. He should spend more time with you.

"He prefers his car to me" would be in the relationship thread. MNers would be suggesting - nay, DEMANDING that you leave him, describing him risking your life in theby his driving as "twuntish".

..............

Sorry, but as a non-bad-boy bloke it is annoying the way women seem to go for this type, and then be seemingly amazed when they don't change their behaviour for them, and then seem to feel it's the blokes fault for not changing. Start off with someone nice - it will be a lot easier in the long ruN!

YABU. I don't get the Gene Hunt thing at all. He's got an unpleasant personality on top of not being much to look at. I think he enjoys beating people up too much.

I agree with Alexsdad. He'd make an awful husband.

mollybob · 21/04/2010 14:38

sorry alexsdad - I agree with the others here

I have a lovely real life DH, a real non-bad-boy but Mr Hunt is for fantasy and he is SEXY +++++

I so totally would. Repeatedly

I'll have to print off some of these answers so that next time we are watching cooking porn, I can use them to justify a bit of drooling and stop having to pretend to be interested in the food

I realise of course this is all a bit jokey, but there is a (very) slightly serious issue here - if you lionise this sort of behaviour, don't be surprised if some blokes think it would be a good thing to copy....

DP is a total an utter opposite of gene Hunt. honestly if he tried to kick a door down he'd hurt his foot.

But its genetic. women are programmed to find the strong male attractive. thats not to say they will make a great husband.....just a fantastic shag

Gigantaur is dead right, he is the Apha Male of all Apha Males and hence my genetic programming and basic instincts demand that i want him to throw me over his desk and show me what's what (easy there girl

but luckily for the likes of Alexsdad and my own DH - evolution means i can also now engage brain and would therefore choose never to procreate or have any kind of relationship with such a man.

that's where (gross generalisation alert) we women differ to men. we know the difference between head and hormones you see.

p.s. he could def keep the leather gloves on in the desk scenario above. also perhaps those manky boots he wears?
