......... kinda made me wanna hide behind the sofa! AIBU to rather she would just ignore / acknowledge the dump taking place, and not give a running commentary?

She does come out with some strange things sometimes! When we announced I was pg with DD her response was to say (straight-faced and smiling) "Well, at least we know it works!" - regarding ex-h todge!

She is very lovely, and very helpful, but when I was pregnant she did tell me an awful lot about her pregnancy with ex-h, I don't want to know about your piles/stitches/stretchmarks/leaky boobs/body hair! I'm having enough trouble with nausea as it is!

Ex-h is totally obsessed with his bathroom activities, so it wouldn't surprise me!

But wait until you have a potty training 2/3 year old that is holding back on the poo front. I've even been known to sing our made-up poo song in the public lavs to get results

Have a perfectly sane, lovely patient at our surgery. Beautifully dressed, lovely hair and make up.

Very well spoken and knowledgeable.

Came to surgery with DGS yesterday and turned into a raving looney.

DGS is 16 months. She's down on the floor with her face in his, saying "Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.give Nana a big kiss kiss kiss,kiss, please give nana Ma, Ma, Ma a big kiss. .

Can't tell you why grandparents go soppy over DGD.

I love mine to death but I treat them as little people.

Have nice sedate conversations with them. Don't have to ask them for a kiss or a hug when they visit, the door slams and I suddenly have 4 little ones hugging me.

Then it's back to normal.
