collections.vam.ac.uk/item/O119621/medallion/

and ask what you would covet?

As OP I have decided not to allow coveting health or other people's homes!

It must be an object that you alone would like to own just for it's innate loveliness or because it moves you in some way.

it can not have any innate usefulness or be
a way of
selling your own stuff

feeling bossy I am

YABU - that is bloody awful.
I on the other hand want

this
although it may be discounted as it may be slightly useful

But it's sooooo cute! How about if I never plug it in and just leave it in the box? Better than the "thing" you covet!

Yummymum - if you really don't have a life I suggest you read a history book. It will save you wasting your time fantasising.

Sad - I know but I love MY laptop - but OH uses MY laptop in the kitchen when he's baking - it gets covered in flour.

Yes I know that is unreasonable on 2 counts

  1. for it being MY laptop and not OURS and
  2. for not being happy he bakes!

I dream of being able to use the "w" key without having to press it really hard.

Iwastooearly Ew...What is that thing? It's grim! Do you have a thing for creepy looking monks?

Actually, having gazed at it a little longer... doesn't it remind you of Rodney from Only Fools & Horses?

mummychicken, I have mini Henry. He is awfully cute but has not suction to speak of. He's useless as a vacuum cleaner, so you may covet away!

I would like the ability to juggle! Nothing spectacular like chainsaws etc, 3 balls would be enough.

Is that better!
