I work one day a week have two children under 5 and I do everything, ironing, washing, taking kids to school, bathtime, bedtime with no complaints from me.

I choose not to go out and spend money on the kids ,bottle of wine, bubble bath, candles, things for the house.

My partner works long hours starting a new business, he goes out twice a week, when he is home my kids have no routine he takes over and they live in our bed.

He rarely helps me with the house or kids buy plays with them to be honest, he says im lucky and can not understand why im so tired and Im spoilt.

Was I right to tell him he is a ass,he says his friends wifes etc work more than I do and his friends go out more than him I said pee of there and live then aibu.

Ive managed to come off my pnd tablets on my own, get a job ,lose weight and take care of my apperance he has suddenly noticed ,maybe I should start going out and get a life what do you think?, and leave him with the kids see how tired he gets.

it is tiring looking after one child, nevermind two! and you are working one day a week and doing everything on top of that. some of us don't even have the energy to get a job so I think you are doing fine so far. Perhaps he needs to appreciate all that you do. He should be supportive of what you achieve, what an attitude
IMHO I think you know yourself that you're not lazy, and that he is the one who is.

Sometimes I think, we need to go on strike just so that they can see what we do do, IYSWIM.

YANBU.

Do you think he has noticed that you have lost weight and he is trying to undermine your confidence a bit? Just a thought ....
