To wash and condition Barbie dolls hair?

DD refuses to take hem into the bath with her which I've heard is the conventional method of keeping them clean.

So now I've given them a wee 'Spa' with an exfoliating pan scourer and Detoll, can I wash their hair, should I?

Why do I even care?

YANBU

Use the tangle teaser if you have one.

don't! It'll go all frizzy and shit. Like dolls you see in charity shops

A gentle comb will suffice. Wash the rest of the doll

I do my daughters barbies hair with conditioner when they get a bit tatty and also her big rosie doll gets a trip to mummy's hairdressers sometimes. I think I may have too much time on my hands to bother about it and to care what they look like!!! lol

They are very grubby - combing won't suffice.

I'm talking dreadlocks that ma have a sugar puff stached inside.

fair enough - yr hardly going to knacker their hair then! Maybe a lil visit to the hairdresser for a crop as well?

Just don't be tempted to use the straighteners on her after her blow dry...

I know this sounds awful but when washed with conditioner on, try banging the head against the sink and then combing a bit more then more banging!!!! A hairdresser told me to do it......Scary!!!!
