I am such a fecking moron - i am waiting on a phone call for a job interview that i am not expecting to get if im honest. They told us we would be informed in the next two days and that more likely to be the same day - yesterday. Ive been on tenterhooks by the phone and have just realised i have omitted my phone number from my CV. Oh dear!! My email is on there but im on tenterhooks - checked my email, nothing there - should i ring them?

Rather than ring them, could you email them your number. It would be pointing out the patently obvious fact that you'd left your number off though.

Hi Lucy, I don't see any problem with ringing if you handle it right. Just ring and say you've been out most of the day and was calling to check you hadn't missed a call from them.
I'm sure you calling won't make any difference to their decision, if you got the job they'll just be pleased your following up as you're obviously keen and if you havn't then hopefully they'll tell you and then atleast you can stop worrying about it.
I hear these days that the majority of people don't actually get a follow up phone call if they don't get a job which I think is seriously off but it can't hurt to ring them and, if you feel confident, ask for feedback on your interview.
Good luck!!

Well, i rang them, left my number on the secretary's voice mail, i left my number with the recepionist and phoned again later in the day to ask, nothing - so either my message hasn't been passed on or, as i suspect I havent got the job but was told we would be contacted either way Im pissed orf!
