Am I being unreasonable to wish Matthew Wright would make up his own topics on his morning chat show, and stop pinching ones from Mumsnet!!

I was thinking the same thing.

He used the am I being unreasonable about not telling a vegetarian their food had touched meat or something like that.

I did think how lazy are they on that programme to rechurn MN discussions

hehe, i actually like him lol!
I rather think he doth protest too much, and would place a bet on him having a litter within the nxt yr or so with his new wifey!

his job isn't rather important so indulge his lazy researchers and producers, hes just their media gimp after all!

mn has a high public profile and fair game for piss taking

no biggie to be expected as the brand grows.all the famous folk grubbing around on mn has contributed this phenomena.

Apparently not OTT, this morning he said that as soon as the ring was on his fiancee's finger, the sex had stopped. Hmm, a sure fire way of ensuring she gets jiggy with you Matthew.
It is lazy researching though, he does it all the time.
Still this morning we were treated to the lovely Huey Morgan-be still my beating heart!
I've been in love with him since the early 90's and felt a definite twitching in my nethers this morning, even though he does look a little like he ate all the pies.

Ha ha, we did a similar thread title not so long ago along the lines of: 'MATTHEW WRIGHT! LOOK OVER HERE! YOU GIANT TWAT!'

Ah, I'm easily pleased.

His face is all squashed up but I like his programme enough not to vomit on demand

He pinched the one about the 'hugger hater' this morning - The woman who's husband likes her to do the housework naked (or some such) the meat containing veggie dish. Its an upward trend - I wonder if he'll use THIS. I do like him though - a man who cooks cant be all bad

I think hes great ...well better than trisha and jezza anyway ....and i love joe mangles humour although hes shit at reading out of the newspaper and his glasses look like hes pinched em off my grandad .

When he said something about mumsnet the other day dh said 'isnt that what you go on?' .....i was a bit worried wrighty might then announce 'do we agree nickschicks dh is a knob?'

I quite like him but he is like a dog with a bone with some topics.

What really, really pissed me off was a few days after he made his 'hilarious' breasts are for me, not for babies comment some twatty bloke said those exact words to me when I was bf ds in a shopping centre. He doesn't get it, he just thinks its a funny joke, like people used to think racist jokes and MIL jokes were funny in the 70s.

I prefer MW to JK that's for sure, but I agree I have noticed he nicks some of MN topics! I do wish he would stop the fake laughing aswell.

Looks like a nerve has been well and truly hit!

I actually have a bit of a crush on him. (Dare I admit that??)

The telly goes off after I've watched him..at least he says what he thinks. I want to twat Pip Schof and that Holly Bird over the head.

He's slagging us off again on his show this morning!!!!

So what are we going to do about it?

Just watched the opening bit of his show on 5, slagging us off for critizing him for nicking topic ideas off here.

Think there is going to be a discussion about us in a while!

Who is brave enough to phone in!!!?

I just turned over to see what he said - and got a rant about increasing the amount of paid maternity leave 'more time for you to winge on MN eh girls ?'.

Matthew Wright is, for example, a tosser
