DH couldn't find the TV remote. A happening that tends to make him stomp about and bark orders like a sergeant major .

He was yelling at DS#1 about 'where did you put it?' (DS was upstairs at the time). And DD just said quite calmly "You could try looking for it".

Even DD has understood the concept of man-looking

Good for your DD, but did she get in trouble for her "cheekiness"? How old is your DD? My 4.5 yr old sometimes tell Daddy a home truth and that age they just about get away with it!

She's 10. And no, she got told off for being a 'cheeky moo' . But he had the good grace to realise she was right and not get too cross. He'd have done the same if one of the kids had behaved as he had done.
