that my sons medical needs come 1st, and that people will not to give him foods that will make him poorly, and leave his diet up to me, and me alone, as its only me and his Dad who had the full understanding of his dietary requirements.

Blah, MIL last keeps asking when we giving him chocolate hes allergic to dairy, and can we add salt to his veg as its a bit bland.

FFS! hes 6 month old....

why just people dont understand that its difficult enough!

Quite apart from the medical concerns, your MIL sounds weird- worrying about the blandness of a 6mo's diet! What does she think he should be doing: sending out for a curry? It's supposed to be bland at that age: they're learning about textures and all sorts; they're not going to get bored.

YANBU

Suggest you get your DH to tell MIL to get her beak out tbh.

Bloomin In-laws, they all seem to be the same, mine give my 8yr Ds2 brightly coloured sweets, then expect us to take him home and deal with the consequences.
I'd tell her that he can have chocolate when she is prepared to take him to hospital to sort out the mess, and take responsibility for what she has done to him.
If she agrees to this, divorce the In-laws.

lol at divorce the inlaws, they are actually really really nice, but she just tries to give him food and is completely unacceptable from a medical prospective and its starting to drive me batty.
