Bit boring but I have to share this one...

My sister has a 2 yr. old DS. A little ahead of my DS age for age, being very coordinated.
So, my sister called her DH, crying and in a blind panic because:

Having gone upstairs for 2 minutes to put something away. Her DS was playing happily in the living room. She came back downstairs and he was nowhere to be seen. She looked everywhere. It would have been impossible for him to get out of the house. So, her DH applies logic and reason in a calm sort of a way in an effort to help. But he is eventually persuaded to leave the office and rush back home....

Meanwhile... (and this is 15 minutes after losing DS) Sis hears giggling. She calls and calls, trying to locate the source of giggles.

DH duly skids to a halt, arriving on the scene ready to call police and SAS and round up the villagers to help.

So where was their DS?

In the living room. In a suitcase. In a CLOSED drawer. With teddy. Thrilled to have played such a funny prank on Mummy! grin Quite how he managed it we have yet to work out.

What did DH do? Laugh. A lot. And then had to stop laughing because he got a decent ear-bashing for being insensitive hmm

AIBU to be even more taken with D-Nephew?

My ds did that one night. I went to check on him and he wasn't in bed (he had gone to bed about 3 hours earlier). I looked all over the house and could not find him. I was getting really panicked when I heard giggling. He had hid under the bed as a joke and as it was ten at night it had not even occured to me he would be playing hide and seek.

It turns out that the drawer is one of those that slides very easily on rollers, and its not quite level so any weight on the drawer makes it close on its own. there was a suitacse in the drawer, DN hid it the case and probably didn't even know the drawer was closed.

As you were...
