To use ds like a bed warmer?

We have been away for a night at the IL's and come back to a FREEZING house. Due to car issues I drove the babies back in MIL's car while dh waits for a tow back from the RAC.

Consequently, we're home before him, and I've put ds in dh's side of our bed, because I don't want to get into a cold bed later! Dh can sleep in the spare room - it'll be all nice and warm by the time he gets in!

YANBU.

Both my boys sleep in my bed until I go to bed and then I try to sneak them into their beds. Means my bed is all toasty warm. I use them instead of hot water bottles.

DS2 goes to sleep in my bed every night. I transfer him to his bed when I go up to bed. Sometimes DS1 gets into my bed too (but not until DS2 is asleep or neither of them go to sleep!). Then all of my bed is toasty warm! No DH to worry about here.... he's away at sea!

No YANBU
Lately my nearly 1 year old DS has started to wake up between 1 and 2am and instead of trying to get him to go back to sleep in his cot I have been putting him in the bed between me and DP...partly because he is crying and I feel sorry for him but mainly because he warms the bed up really nicely :D

Maybe I am BU!

Ah, it seems I'm NBU. I wonder how annoyed he'd be if I watched Dr Who without him - just seen it's up on iPlayer....

Misread your post and thought you were using DH as a bedwarmer. To that it's a definite YANBU
