Someone has been taking money from my purse again

We're not loaded, but not hugely short of money, so I don't count pennies in and out normally.

I'm not sure how often and how much moeny is beign taken and apparently this my fault as DH thinks I should know how much is in there at all times

Well if you have previously suspected that money is being taken then yes yabu .

A little more care would help you and the culprit bring this to an end. You hate that fact that someone (not read your previous post so no idea if you know who it is)is stealing from you and the thief also hates that they are driven to this and you dont even notice

sorry, I probably should have explained the backstory a bit better (I'm very cross and not thinking straight)

I know who has taken money in the past, but this was over 6 months ago. We've had hours of family therapy since to sort out the problems we have had. I thought we were fixed but obviously not.

The orginal culprit is denying taking anything today and I don't know whether it was her or one of her sisters doing it to get her into trouble

I think I'm going to have to give up on cash completly and just use plastic for everything.
