To be clear, I don't fly very much and haven't flown with BA for years, so I'm not personally affected by their staff striking in any way. So... AIBU to have shouted at the TV last night when it was on the news that they are thinking about striking - again - over Christmas? Why do they go on strike every single year and mess around thousands of people? Is it part of their holiday entitlement?!

Err, that's sort of the point of a strike...

Whether or not you support their cause, you have to admit that a strike is supposed to create maximum disruption in order to draw attention to the issue.

There would be little point in striking at 'off peak' times, when no-one wants to fly anyway

BA cancelled my Mums almost Christmas (20th Dec) flight and charged her £5 for the privilege, I bet she's glad now, as she would be having kittens
