My husband wants to take son aged three to see live music in our leisure centre, I am concerned that it may damage his hearing (and he had grommits) is it bad for small children to be around VERY load music? or am i being over protetive

Get him some funky earmuffs - he will still be able to hear it but it won't be so loud.

Depends on the 'live music'. Are we talking Motorhead doing the full Bomber set or some wussy girl with an acoustic guitar?
I think Morthoth is right - ear protection of some kind is probably the best solution.

Get him some ear protection and let him go. He'll love it.
You're never too young to enjoy live music.

It will be amazing! We've taken dd to as much outside stuff as possible. Things like local town festivals etc are great.

What tim of day is it? There are very strict restrictions due o health and safty any way.

GO for it"!
