AIBU?

to throw a bag of rubbish in my neighbours face?

next door bastards neighbours are too cheap to pay for their own bin charges, so dump their rubbish in other peoples bins, mainly mine. They fill my green bin with their pizza boxes, burger wrappers , coke bottles and mouldy shite and cover the top with ashtray empties and other nasties.

AIBU to fill a black bin bag, knock on their door and then empty it in their hallway/ all over their heads?

I won't though really, they are too scary and would probably batter me or set fire to my house, but AIBU to have fantasies of throwing rubbish at people (and hoping the mouldy bits land right in their faces )

yabu to actually throw the rubbish in their face but putting it all in a bin bag and leaving said bin bag at their door sounds quite reasonable.

Not unreasonable at all. Keep your bin inaccessible until bin day and then when you take it out it will be full and they can't put anything in, or if it's not full then at least all your own rubbish is in there first.

Or, if you want to really pass a message - drill a hole and put a chain through and secure it with a padlock. Even the most thick among us will understand that!

fantasies are fine but I think you are right in surmising that if you actually tried this with your gutter dwelling neighbours that you would come a cropper!

Can I write "get your filthy hands off my bin you dirty feckers" next to the lock?

The bins are all in a communal bin store for the block but we never had any problem before this crowd came, everyone has their own. Theres nowhere else to put them. They are moving out soon (yay!) but I'm just so sick of them.......

Reminds me of the fantasies I had about my old neighbours. Wanting to drown out their gangsta rap with Womans Hour, throw the dog poo dumped by their dog on our garden back over the fence, be as noisy early in the morning as they were late at night etc etc.

Never did though...

How totally unreasonable and slummy of them. Sympathies

Rig up a dead cat on a spring like a macabre jack in the box. They won't do it again!

complain to the council. What loony uncivilised council came up with the idea of bin charges anyway?

Its privatised here, nothing to do with the council, and we pay by weight, which makes it all the worse!
I love the dead cat idea!

I had the same problem with neighbours years ago at my first flat. I was living in a one bed flat and so had a tiny bin (you know the small ones they give to pensioners). The people at the block of flats next to me couldn't be arsed walking to their bin which was further along (and full sized) so used to dump their rubbish in mine. I used to take their bag out and dump it on their doorstep so they had to step over it to get out of their house. After I did this a couple of times they got the message and stopped dumping their rubbish in my bin. It can be so annoying that someone can be so lazy!!!!! There was never enough space left in my bin for my own rubbish after they had dumped theirs in!
