well I bought the Bestway Deluxe Family blue pool from Argos on Friday for the gorgeous weather for the bank holiday
Inflated it on Friday morning filled it with water which took a good 30 mins and then made the kids dinner - when we went back outside for them to play in it the two top bits had deflated a bit so I tightened the "quick deflate valves" and pumped it back up (completely knackered by now lol). They played in it for all of half an hour as it wasn;t that warm here on sat and then went inside by teatime it had deflated again (just the top two bits)
Reinflated it again that night, and again on Sunday morning and went to a bbq. When we came back it had deflated again but so much that the water had completely swamped our full garden!!
I reinflated it again on Sunday but it just keeps going down and we cannot find a puncture anywhere I was left with two very disappointed children
and while this only cost £14 it was reduced from over £30 and that;s a lot for only half an hours play ( and I think it was faulty before it was even used)
Anyway took it back to Argos and explained that I had not had time to bring it back over the bank hols as we have been busy and we don't drive etc. They won't refund or exchange it as it has been "used" even though I pointed out that you cannot tell that something has a punture until you inflate it
Contacted Bestway (the manufacturer) they say that as it is not one of their expensive pools they will not send me a replacement and to go to Argos even though I have explained the above saga to them
SO now I am stuck with a pool that does not work and two unhappy kids and not enough money to buy a new one grrrrr
Sorry it;s a bit long rant over now ...
