I could hardly say no could I, but it still doesn't quite sit right - could he not have just waited for christ's sake??

he could quite possibly have been out for over 2 hours in the van, would you have preferred he pee in your flower beds?

YABU. I'll never understand why people are so precious about their loos.

When you've gotta, you've gotta go!

It wouldn't bother me.

Perhaps if I had a downstairs loo it would have seemed less intrusive but as we don't have such a luxury it struck me as a bit of a bloody liberty. He then had the bloody cheek to huff and puff because I had a "lot of shopping"!

(Oh and he bought me Lemon Drizzle Loaf instead of my beloved Raspberry Roulade which may in actual fact be the true root of my problem with him!).

My OH used to be a delivery driver for Asda, as it is illegal to wee on the wheel of the van (drivers of more than 7.5 tonners are allowed though) or in a policemans hat (preg woman can) then sometimes he had no choice but to ask customers if he could use their loo. On average he was out for 4 hours at a time. Like lastorders says, when you gotta go you gotta go!

Waited for what exactly Kitty? To wet himself?? They don't plan the drivers route for the drivers convenience (pun intended).

Now I didn't like to ask but I seriously doubt he was pregnant - had he been I would of course have found no problem with his request.

What's the problem?

I would have no problem with this at all...

However, I feel like I know the Tesco delivery staff quite well by now!

My DS was busting for the loo in the middle of Gap.

I asked the assistant if he could use the loo, he said no and waltz off - DS immediately pissed himself in the middle of the hoodie section.

The joy on my face when I reported to the waltzy sales assistant that there was a puddle of piss for him to attend to was worth the wet trousered, tearstained child!

Glad Tesco man didn't wee in the middle of your Roulade

When I did delivering I always had the fear of being caught short at the back of my mind. Thank goodness he did ask and thank goodness you said yes.

There was no Roulade - how very cruel of you to point that out LastOrders!

Sounds like you ought to get off your pedestal. So it was HIS fault you didn't get your precious cake? I think you are a tad arrogant. And how can you contemplate denying someone the right to go to the loo if they really need to? I don't suppose he would have asked if he didn't really need the loo, he was obviously busting.

Inhuman attitude.

Just asked DH, he's a tesco man. In three years of doing the job he's never done it but if he needed to he'd ask. I don't see the problem....
