Twas gorgeous!

I know that white sliced bread (Mothers Pride type stuff I mean) is a foodie sin but it makes lovely toast

In my defence it was all they had in our corner shop last night.

Don't worry about it unless you're expecting the Kitchen Police round (and they've never called at mine, although it is a crime scene!)

Might have that for lunch. Nobody else in to complain about smelly eggs!

is it really still a foodie sin, sliced white bread? I thought it was higher in certain minerals

Yum, sounds lovely. Sadly eggs make me quite ill but I still fancy 'em rotten.

Erm, I didn't mean that I would like to eat them on the turn, which is what might be concluded. Cos that would be just yuck.

Oh I think white sliced is a foodie sin regardless of it's mineral content it just is beyond the pale.

Sounds lovely.

If someone was a real foodies they would understan the niceness of it.

Love boiled eggs. And when I was pg with ds I started having them with celery dipped in instead of bread (I know, I know, shoot me now...) but I love it that way. Big dirty bread sounds good though

Perfect diet food too! Medium boiled egg and 1 slice of bread - only 3 points on the weightwatchers scale! Genius.

CrackOpenTheBaileys, make sure you've got enough water in the pot to cover the egg. Bring it to a rolling boil then put your egg in. Boil it for 5 minutes, run cold water over it for a few seconds to stop it cooking. Guarantees a proper dippy egg in this house every time
