AIBU?

To think that this was a bit cheeky!

DH works at a sixth form college in the IT department.

Today there was a health promotion stand handing out condoms so on his lunch break DH popped over to get some. The woman said there was a special Valentine's day pack he could have, but to get it you had to do a chlamydia test - pee in a pot and hand it in for them to send off.

DH said oh no its ok I won't bother, I am not a student I am married and my wife and I were tested together early on in our relationship so we know we don't have it.

And the woman says - Oh well you never know - maybe you should do one just in case!!

He showed her his wedding ring and said he trusted his wife.

He was actually quite offended, I think its funny actually but I think she pushed her luck a bit!

Yes a bit cheeky YANBU

They are really pushing this chlamydia testing - if you get a free test at Sainsburys Chemist you get a £10 odeon voucher

yabu

think of all the men and women not tested because they trust their husbands and wifes who are currently walking around with chlamydia...

like the idea of him showing her his wedding ring to prove the point of your sexual fidelity

Reminds me a bit of MW cheerfully informing me that I didn't have syphilis and wasn't HIV+. I said I hadn't particularly expected to have them actually.

I remember having tests done after I miscarriaged in 2007, and when I phoned for the results being cheerfully told I didn't have Chlamydia She said it like this 'Not all the results are back yet, but you will be pleased to hear you don't have Chlamydia' with a laugh...
